So...you're wondering if your neighbor is going to be mad if you take his tree because you want to put it in your house and watch it die over the holidays? First of all, the holiday thing is the least of your worries...let's try trespassing, stealing, and maybe a few other laws. Second, how's about you go to Wally World and buy a $20 fake tree on sale. You can reuse it every year, and won't be breaking the law. Third, no, you wouldn't be offending his religion. But you would be offending his intelligence. Something you seem to be completely oblivious of.

No, they don't use a Christmas Tree as a rule though some that are secular or intermarried do.
But if it's his & you cut it down w/o his permission it might do more than offend him. It might end you in jail or with a lawsuit.

Some do. A Christmas tree is not a religious symbol. Christmas is a secular holiday.

It is technically not called a Christmas tree. It could be an evergreen, blue spruce, douglas fir, etc.

Obviously he likes the tree and planted it in his yard. It is his property NOT yours. If you are a Christian and plan to celebrate Christmas with a stollen tree...How sick is that? And also illegal..now that would be fun Christmas in jail.

You won't offend his religion, just his rights since the tree is on his property, you'd be stealing it and that would make you a downright theiving scoundrel.

I dont think stealing someones tree would offend his religion. I think he might just be mad you stole his tree and that he had to live next door to an obvious stupid person.

Well, you're not much of a Christian, since you can't even spell Christmas, so I don't think he'll be offended.
