I'm pretty sure we'd still die.

jesussaves - Gaila's Random Typos said nothing about a tree.

Might want to pick up some glasses sometime and actually read a question.

It wasn't an apple---it was a "forbidden fruit" And no, the earth could sustain many billions of people if we look at how it was created in the beginning. The evidence from all the coal, oil and gas we find today suggests the biosphere before the flood of Noah was hundreds of times greater than it is today meaning the world was more like a great tropical garden all over, deserts and polar regions were non-existant (we have evidence of trees at both poles and deserts have signs of being much wetter in the past...look up desertification), the water levels of the oceans were lower providing more land available, the mountains were much smaller. We'll never know how many people could have lived on Earth had there been no sin but it's likely that many more billions could have done so quite easily. The current population of Earth could fit into the state of Texas with a little elbow room to spare.

No, that would be impossible. They were created perfect and had a perfect relationship with their Father, God who walked and talked with them through the Garden Paradise. They were the only two of their kind. Of course, God already new what would happen, since He had planned the destiny of mankind since the beginning of time. Because of their disobedience, God told them of their sure fate: "You [shall] return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return" (Genesis 3:19).

It is important to realize that God's original plan to give mankind eternal life, which was rejected by Adam and Eve, is available to each of us today as a result of God's personal calling.

Adam and Eve introduced sin to mankind, and all humans springing from them are "appointed" to die because all have sinned (Romans 5:12; Hebrews 9:27). Yet God's purpose for mankind stands; His purpose to give mankind eternal life will succeed! Throughout the rest of the Bible we see the unfolding of God's plan of redemption: the purchase of mankind for a price. Man, we see, is rescued from death by the priceless shed blood of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

The little-understood truth is that God's initial purpose for mankind is that he not die. The temporary existence that ends in death is not God's original purpose for mankind. It is part of the curse for sin brought on humanity by the wrong choice made by our first parents, and all have chosen to follow that sinful way ever since (Romans 3:23).
