What do you call a Quaker by the side of the road with his arm up a horse's hinney?

An auto-mechanic.

There are certain groups like the Quakers, the Flat-Earth Society, the Young Earth Creationists, etc. that get stuck on one particular stage of human development. It is just an example of the variety in humans.

ADD: Despite popular belief, the Bible does not condemn magic. Sorcery is specifically described as communing with the dead.

It is not. A telephone is an instrument, an instrument can't be good or evil. It's what you do with it that may be good and evil. Sin comes from the heart of men. You can use a telephone to lift up someone today, to bless him or you can use it to curse, gossip, destroy people with your mouth etc. The choice to heal and destroy is in your hands.

Why would it be?

It is a way of communicating with other people and asking about your friends and family, which is actually very important in Islam ( my religion).

It is not a sin to use the telephone, but the way you use is whats important, it is a sin to waste your time, backbit and talk about useless things,

It all depends on what your using the telephone to talk about. We can make anything a sin if we use it in order to rebel against the things of God.

No, the use of technology is not a sin. If anything it's a fulfillment of God's dream for us; to utilize the gift's he has given us.
