Hi, I am just curious as to how physical the appearance of spirits is for most people who have been visited.

I believe I have had a few 'sensations' of spirits around me, many actually negative. This started when I challenged an grave in a very old cemetary (young and stupid). I had a very horrible few years after that and still sometimes feel 'pulled on' or 'spooked' easily. I am waiting to feel the beauty of a clean spirit hopefully oneday, I'm just unsure of what to expect and worry my fear may be blocking messages?

please dont talk nonsense.there alot of verses in the bible jesus calling people to one GOD.there alot of verses jesus saying he is the prophet of ALMIGHT GOD..there alot of verses jesus saying is ahuman being.there lot of verses jesus crying to GOD for help.yes tell now.jesus the god is from where?look at this please from cleaver man trying to assist you from your own book.RU BLIND! .WHATS UP!
There is no such verse. He worshipped God and told to worship him.

29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
37 Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your entire mind. (Bible; Mark 12:29 & Mathew 22:37)

For himself he told about him:
3 "Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?" So they were offended at Him.
4 But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house." (Bible; Mark 6:34 and read Luke 4:24, John 4:44 also)

And he forbid to call him, even Good:
19 So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is God.
20) "You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal, ' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Honor you father and your mother.'" (Bible; Luke 18:19-20)

According to this question right here... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsZnLyUXZFzAp_Xb.ZCHB4cjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20070906114915AA6RwbO

...Jesus never said he was a man and yet we know he was a man. He also never said "I am a prophet" but apparently we somehow know that that was also true. He also never said "I am god" but apparently THAT was true too.

So what else did Jesus fail to mention that he also was? Was Jesus:

- A Red Sox fan? (You'd think he'd be a Padres or Angels fan.)
- Gay?
- Feeling a bit off today?
- A lover of a fine Alfredo sauce?
- Shaken, not stirred?
- A Vaguely Interesting Man Who *Doesn't* Like Dos Equis?
- Just this guy, you know?
- Tired of all the bullshit, dude?
- A charismatic nutbag, about whom people were still making up stories about 75 years later when the gospels were written?

If you happen to know what else Jesus was but didn't mention, please help out and let us know. Thanks.

According to some sources, life is precious because everything only has one life to treasure. Also, life is something that once taken away, it can no longer come back.

Time is gold, so don't waste it. Time is also something that knocks only once, and a partner of opportunity that keeps on dragging it away from you or closer to you.

Now check this out. If time can be reversed, then life will also reverse. Everyone who died and went to heaven on the period of your choice will go back to Earth, depriving them again of the Everlasting happiness that God had promised them once because of the ability to reverse time. And besides, they are already living a good life and you played with God's creatures. OF COURSE GOD WILL PUNISH THAT!!!!!!!!!!!! But do you think will he really?

What is your favorite scripture, or passage, religious, spiritual, humanist, or inspirational in nature of any book? This mostly deals with scriptures from the Bible, or Qu'ran, but non-believers and others--even Christians are encouraged to use other sources

One would think that people would be amazed by the complexity, accuracy and unimaginable explanation of the creation account of the earth given that the bible is true…but what we got is somewhat different….I’ve added my thoughts in the pharentesis, so enjoy!

Genesis
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
(By this point God divided light from darkness)

1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
(By now God has created light, which he called DAY)
(There was an evening and a morning…without a SUN!! WoW!)

1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
(Oddly, God AGAIN divides light from darkness?)
(By this point God created the stars)

you say she was born without sin, so what book is that in? Have you read Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Is this just dogma? Serious question because I am curious.

If you were Jesus, the Son of God ... how long would you allow Satan to have his way with your own mother?

For everyone ... and if you had the power to prevent it ... how long would you allow Satan to have his way with your own mother?

Serious question. I am asking because I am wondering if Muslims don't believe women get a reward in Heaven.

72 virgin men would not be a reward for a woman...(women will understand that comment)

I mean, forget about what the bible says for a moment. There are plenty of us who don't believe a word of it, because there is no absolute proof.

What solid evidence do you really have to say ghosts are demons? I mean, there is no solid evidence for or against, but I find it strange and kind of frightening that everything we don't scientifically know about (and even some things we do!) are attributed to demonic activity. Sickness, bacteria, even epilepsy have all been attributed to the Work Of The Devil.

Since you as a christian have never been dead, and have no other proof than what the bible claims, how can you be so certain that what you believe is true? Is it not as likely to be debunked as the flat earth theory was?

I just don't understand why christians are so dogmatic about these things when it's clear that they have no more of an idea than the next guy.

Just because the universe is highly improbable, doesn't mean that it was intended.

The chances of me winning the lottery are highly improbable, but if I were to win the lottery, it would not be because it was intended for me to win the lottery.

If it was, that would mean that the lottery was fixed, and the lottery is not fixed.

There is no creator. It's time for the 21st century to move on and leave behind the divisive superstition that is organised theistic religion.

Because if you don't, you can really make yourself look stupid by misinterpreting what the asker was trying to get across. The same thing also occurs when a question is put to a specific group, and you answer it anyway, as if you didn't see who the question was targeted to.

I guess I have to delete my question now, since no one bothered to read the very short details, and made wrong assumptions.

Hello, I run the youth league at my synagogue (I'm Jewish) and we are playing a Baptist church youth league at a hockey game. My group has lost the last 6 years and my boyfriend (a great guy but not a Jew) is a college hockey player and I think he would make the prefect ringer. Is this unethical? Is it wrong to invite him to the lock in? Is this a step in me trying to subconsciously convert him or me being over eager to win?
