If you go by the Bible, God is the creator of everything in the universe, and who specially loves humans.
God is neither male nor female; there would be no need for God to have a gender because, as the teachings of the Bible say, there is only one God who, therefore, does not need to multiply or dispose of any body wastes. God, we are told, does not have a physical form. The suggestions in the Bible that God is a loving Father is easily explained by the dominance of the male during the times that the Bible documents were written. Had the society been matriarchal, the writers would have been women and God would be depicted as a loving Mother.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

First of all, I wasn't raised in any one religion. But oddly, what I'm going to write has sort of naturally occurred to me over the years.
My belief is that God is the same as the universe and the laws of nature & physics. I firmly believe that we have free will, but that God is all around us observing.
I also believe that bad things are allowed to happen for a purpose -- our growth and learning. When disasters strike, either on a massive societal scale or in a single person' life, people say things like, "How could God allow that to happen?" My take is that our personal comfort is of little concern to the grand scheme of things. If you think about it, it's only in bad times that we truly grow and improve -- when things are going well, we just enjoy them. It's not that God is in any way malevolent, but the fact is that if God wanted us to have perfect lives, we would have perfect lives. This lifetime is just a very, very short and temporary incarnation, so once our souls are released I doubt that we spend any time whining about the bad things we endured.
As for gender, I don't think the supreme creator of all matter and life has genitalia. I don't mean that crassly or even flippantly. It's just that the hackneyed idea of God as some robed grandfather sitting on a throne strikes me as profoundly limited. And if I'm absolutely certain of anything, it's that our puny mortal brains cannot even begin to imagine what God is really like -- the magnitude and wonder and complexity. To get an idea of what I mean, close your eyes and really, REALLY try to fathom what eternity must be like -- you know, time without end, without clocks and calendars. I have a hunch you'll start feeling dizzy after a minute or two, as have I. :-)

God is not whatever you want it to be nor is it a creator or supreme being. It is a theology that has been around for thousands of years. The christian God being around for about 2500 years. Human curiosity has made us wonder how everything was created... many of us have turned to the sky and believe the answer lays there somewhere. People were lost and confused so we started creating deities (Gods). Hinduism and Buddhism were the first major religions to be created. Hinduism is Polytheistic (many Gods), Paganism was created, Egyptian religion, Greek, Roman and so on.
Then this new thing (that makes it all simpler) was monotheism (one god) which really took off, Judaism was the first, Christianity was pretty much founded by Saint Peter the first pope. And the wonderful Islam spread from that. Do you understand that scientific method has allowed many of us to look for something other than religion for answers?

God is God,The One, indefinable. God is neither man or woman God is a omnipotent essence of regenerative power.
No man can truly describe The One.
Although many scholars and philosophers throughout history have attempted, they can only do so by their own definition and personal limitations of words and experience.
God is beyond any definition by man .

All types of people believe all sorts of things about a God, or Gods. Religions idea of God probably isn't all true, they all believe they have the only answer.
It doesn't have to have a sex. Just because it's beyond our understanding doesn't mean something greater than us can't exist. I often feel something exists, and have definitely had strange things happen. Generally don't mention it though because people just think your mad.
Religious people are generally intolerant. I'm sure that's wrong for a start.

God is the one who created all things apart from himself, since he has always existed, being the king of eternity (Revelation 15:3)
He also promises to make all things new., getting rid of death and sorrow on the Earth. (Revelation 21:3-5)
This he does through his kingdom with his son, Jesus on the throne. (John 18:36; Revelation 5:11-13)
God is the almight spirit being. (John 4:24; Revelation 11:17) With this power he, much more than anyone else, can bring these promises about.

I believe God is a man because the Bible says God our Father and he had the Holy Spirit impregnate a virgin Mary to marry Joseph and Jesus Christ was the Son of God. I don't know of many other religions where God had a child that lives today near their Father. I know and this upsets me that there is a back lash against Christians I see it @they University I attend I know of one young woman who is bisexual, a Pagan and almost became a druid high priestess. And another young woman who reads tarot cards. Another friend of mine her sister is a Wiccan is bisexual and had a baby boy nearly one year ago and is a high school drop out and is w/a controlling much older boyfriend.
