One would think that people would be amazed by the complexity, accuracy and unimaginable explanation of the creation account of the earth given that the bible is true…but what we got is somewhat different….I’ve added my thoughts in the pharentesis, so enjoy!
Genesis
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
(By this point God divided light from darkness)
1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
(By now God has created light, which he called DAY)
(There was an evening and a morning…without a SUN!! WoW!)
1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
(Oddly, God AGAIN divides light from darkness?)
(By this point God created the stars)

1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (God created plants before the sun itself!! How did the plants survive without photosynthesis?)
1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
(Oddly, God only by this point creates the sun and moon)
(The light that separates day from night is the light that shines from the sun, but oddly he created the sun by this point, which is after he created light?)
(God created the lesser light to rule the night “the moon”, but in reality the moon has no light, the light is merely reflected from the sun. God speaks of the greater and lesser light in the same context implying both of them having their own lights)

1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth
1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
(God again divides light from darkness for the 3rd time!!)

SDW: First off, thanks for the compliment. But your accusations is nothing short of a senseless rant. Did I miss something?

You are correct. I pointed this out before and got an answer saying God was the light but that doesn't follow because then God must switch himself off in order to create night. Another Christian website I read said that God was the light and was shining only from one side of the earth. That doesn't make sense either bearing in mind God's omnipresence. He is supposed to be everywhere, not just on one side of the earth.
Also, note that God creates man and woman together in genesis 1 but by Genesis 2 Adam is alone in the Garden of Eden and then God creates the animals to keep him company. Then he creates woman. This clearly condradicts Genesis 1 where the animals were created before Adam and woman was created at the same time. Now thw Jews realised this mistake and wrote another text to try to cover it up where by the original woman was Lilith but she rejected Adam and left. Then God created Eve. The creation myth goes against everything we know about the universe.
Now it becomes a little mor complicated because it seems that Lilith was some sort of demon but how can that be if she was created in God's image? Then Lilith goes on to mate with demons (according to some texts) and have 100 children per day!!!!!!
The whole thing is illogical and makes absolutely no sense outside the realm of mythology.

You state that "the bible is true," that this is a "given." Yet you also state that "the 6 days of creation doesn't make the slightest sense at all" and proceed to enumerate the reasons for this nonsensical creation story. You sound confused: are you or are you not a "believer?" It appears to me that you've unwittingly planted the seeds of agnosticism in your brain (you're using logic and reason to question creationism, which is not what "believers" do, because "believers" rely on faith and faith alone). Keep questioning, my friend. You'll add a whole new vista to your wondrous life when you dump the supernatural baggage.

I've always wondered how Christians could claim that the days of the creation were 24-hour days. Especially considering the fact that a day is marked by the Earth's rotation on its axis, but the first two days the Earth is without form and void.

It is not designed to make sense, merely to offer an explanation thousands of years ago to people that had no scientific knowledge as to the origins of their existence.
A placebo,nothing more.
that way it is far more acceptable for them to swallow the laws imposed upon them that include giving up 10% of their earnings,to willfully stay slaves and to stone to death anyone that questions these laws and rules.
Anyone still believing this as truth today should be put in a corner with a dunces hat on.

Gen: 1:14 refers to the stars. As for everything else, I figure you need to open your mind and ask God to allow you to understand his creation. Good Luck, and God Bless!

Since when did any of it have to make sense?
"God" by definition is nonsensical.
While you won't get that word itself from christians (they believe it some sort of insult).... you will get the general feeling that they don't and cannot understand their "God" .... which amounts to much the same.
"God" cannot be understood because he is nonsensical and often thoroughly ludicrous....
Apparently that doesn't stop people believing he exists though. It would imply a lot about this world too.

You're not impressing anyone, get_a_clue.
And for the record, the only one that your commentary embarrasses is yourself, though you may not realize it right away.
Your English is much improved, I will say... good studying up.
