There is no such verse. He worshipped God and told to worship him.
29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
37 Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your entire mind. (Bible; Mark 12:29 & Mathew 22:37)
For himself he told about him:
3 "Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?" So they were offended at Him.
4 But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house." (Bible; Mark 6:34 and read Luke 4:24, John 4:44 also)
And he forbid to call him, even Good:
19 So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is God.
20) "You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal, ' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Honor you father and your mother.'" (Bible; Luke 18:19-20)

Let me begin to tell you like I tell all people that use these verse, your wrong. No just kidding, but you are, I am going to reason with you here. You have the scripture about Jesus talking to moses saying "I AM", ok? Now you have the scripture in your comments saying "Don't call me good only God is good" (paraphrasing there) #19. You also have many more, but the fact is that these two scriptures do not agree with each other do they? No, so we take what is clear and we take what is not clear, the clear is that Jesus is calling himself God but not directly like you people want it. Why else would they want to stone him (kill him)? Now you have this scripture #19 that Jesus is saying that God is only good, that doesn't mean he is lesser than God. While Jesus was on the earth God was above him in heaven, a perfect place, so its kind of like authority. In the army you have rank structures this is what it is playing out to be. Because at that time, Jesus was on the earth with the rest of the sinful world, Jesus knew no sin but was tempted of it. If he could be tempted of it, than don't you think you would say that you are not as good as your father too? that is perfect? Look it can be confusing, and not everyone can understand it but it is very important because Jesus is what saves all the other stuff means not so much.

Hello Lulu,
First thing Jesus never once claimed to be god! He claimed to be the son of god and man!
A lot of people here are answering your question saying that Jesus claimed to be god but, None of that are actually stating the Book or verse that they found this statement from Jesus Christ.
This is the reason that there are so many fool here, I won't say anymore because yahoo rules doesn't allow me to speak my mind the 2 points doesn't mean anything to me doesn't matter how many points I have I get nothing for them either, I find this yahoo answers a waste of time because we are amongst many fools.

Jesus did tell us who he is, and he did not ever say he is God:"what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son"?(John10:36)But he was not the only one who said he is God's son his Father also spoke at Jesus baptizm and told us who Jesus is:17And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." (Matthew3:17) But you asre right there are many Scriptures that show that Jesus is not God:
" I will set his hand over the sea,
his right hand over the rivers
He will call out to me, 'You are my Father,
my God, the Rock my Savior.'
I will also appoint him my firstborn,
the most exalted of the kings of the earth.
will maintain my love to him forever,
and my covenant with him will never fail.
(Psalm89:25-28)
But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.(Acts7:55)

There have been a few streaks of confusion due to Jesus's occasionally rather buddhist-sounding comments about God being within him.
Folks seemed to have thought that he was referring exclusively to himself..... rather than merely inclusively.
Funny that.
Oh... and the whole "I am" saga.
Somewhat of a mistranslation there.... but when the words "I am" can be used to refer EITHER to one's self OR to the deity in question.... it is a bit of a stretch to assume they are being used to refer to BOTH.
Jesus might have said "I am" and been referring to God, but the funny thing is that if he had used some other name for the G-man... like "YHWH" .. in that statement, there would have been none of this confusion, and it certainly wouldn't have been assumed that he was referring to himself along with that in any way, shape or form.

One of the (many) times Jesus pissed off a crowd of people who started to stone Him to death was when He declared, "I tell you the truth - before Abraham was, I AM!" This was significant because it was considered blasphemy - Jesus claiming divinity, immortality and - with the use of the phrase "I AM" (Remember when God told Moses He should be called "I AM"?) - claiming to be God Himself.
If you think about it - it was Jesus' "blasphemy" that pretty much got Him killed!

Jesus said that he was the one speaking with Moses.
"Before Abraham was, I Am". The Jews knew that he was claiming to be God in that statement that's why they wanted him killed for blasphemy.
Thomas, upon touching the resurrected Jesus proclaimed "My Lord and my God".
Jesus did not correct him.

You will not likely find where he directly calls people to worship him.
However, you will find places where he neither refused it nor did not recommend it.
He preferred that people come to their own conclusion and act as a result of.
