We were driving 150 miles an hour in a brand new Mustang, racing a Camaro. Our tie rods broke under the front end and we flipped 6 times, once end over end. It threw the driver out and his shirt got caught and he was rolled over twice. We lived. It was the worse car wreck in the state ever up to that time. It shoved the transmition through the floor board and in between the seats. It threw the motor 100 feet from the car. They had to use the jaws of life to remove me and my brother and one other friend. There were 4 of us in the car. We all lived. The police, the firemen, the rescue men, and the doctors all said, there was a higher power with us that night. I have others all true, as to why I believe in God.

God has done many things in my life. He does comfort me, loves me, watches over me and many other things like blessing my life with a wonderful wife. Saving my hyde in Iraq more than once. Keeping my family safe while I was gone. Keeping my brothers and sisters in arms safe while we were there.
Prayer and Faith. Are the two gifts I have that were given to me by God.
Salvation is the greatest thing !

Are you asking for proof like a picture? or a real life experience? Seeing a person before and after the receive Salvation is proof enough. Knowing the person I used to be and the person that I am now living in Christ is a Tremendous change.

The existence of God is irrelevant.

The day is fast approaching when engineers will be able to design android robots which are capable of mimicking human behavior in every way.

It will then only be a matter of picking the right rules and variables to input to the android's mind to force it exactly match the behavior of any living person. An exact match may be difficult to find, but approximations would be easy and they can always be refined later.

Similarly, the behavior of an almighty God who is in charge of everything could also be exactly matched by picking the right set of rules and variables to describe the behavior of the universe. These rules are known as the laws of physics. The unknown variables become the constants in the equations. The attempt to approximate and refine them is known as science.

There is no difference in a universe ruled by an almighty deity and a universe ruled by the laws of physics. They would both behave in exactly the same way and true morality in them is identical.

I just can't accept that all the physical phenomena and existence living species which are very wonderful for me was a result of unintelligent events. There must be an intelligent "something" which caused all of these. Also, I find the Bible to be very reliable. It has forseen events, it doesn't contradict itself even if it was written for thousand of years and by 60+ writers, it don't contradict the secular history we know and it contains rational ideas on what is wrong and what is right.

I know God is real because I went from being your normal happy heathen just oblivious to God or his existence to one day going to church with a friend of mine and not only giving my life over to this God to whom I had never given much thought to, but also suddenly having an intense desire to read of all things the bible! Before this I would have put reading the bible right up there with having my teeth pulled at the dentist, yet there I was not only reading it but finding myself unable to put it down. Then I just began to change, dramatically. I went from wanting to go clubbing to wanting to spend time praying, from stepping over homeless people on my way to work to crying over the homeless people on my way to work. The whole experience was just unexplainable. Today I still get excited when I open the bible because I know I am about to learn and see something I did not know or see before, I never know what new thing God will have in store for me.

I really believe in God. And all the things the Bible says about Him.
Not because I "want" to feel loved, but because I really do.
Not because I "want" to be forgiven, but because I am.
Not because of my family, I was one of the first to get saved in my family.
Not to have something to do or to make me feel good inside.
Believing in God dosen't make you feel good in side ALL of the time. When you believe in God, but are out of His will, it's the worst feeling in the world.
My experiences with God cannot be "proven" to you.
But fortunately they don't need to be.
However, I can tell you that I have had prayers answered, and God has been comepletely faithful to me, even when my faith was lacking.

If you understand what the bible really says then you would know without a doubt that the predictions made are accurate, however this does not constitute proof that God exists. I don't believe in God because I have always faced my life alone, and anyone with common sense would know that a loving God would reward his followers, not cast them into a den of thieves. It is not agreeable to the spirit. Goldy is a liar, God speaks to nobody. ;-)

Difficult to answer. I believe because of events in my life where I felt only God could have been in control.
