My Dad and I were talking the other night about love and marriage.

He told me that he knew as early as their wedding what marriage to my Mom would be like. It seems the minister asked my Mom, "Do you take this man to be your husband." And she said, "I do."

Then the minister asked my Dad, "Do you take this woman to be your wife," and my Mom said, "He does."

Was yours like this?

You don't get a busy signal, nor, do you get put on hold, I know that you know that God is always listening. But we don't always get an Immediate answer to our prayers, and that tends to make non believers out of most?

my boyfriend recently lost his phone in our bedroom, we turned our flat upside down all day i searched then i prayed to the angels to help me find it. a couple of hours later i found it where i had previously looked. my honey was so happy and i was glad to see a smile back on his face. i have seen my guardian angels twice in my life and i thanked them alot that day! anyone else have angel stories they would like to share?

I see Jehovah's Witnesses ridiculing the "mystery of Trinity" but they have the mysteries of their own.

I know many others ridicule Trinity too, but it irks me when self claimed Christians do that.

whats wrong with these people ,The church members testified they are following their religious beliefs by spreading the message that soldiers are dying because the nation is too tolerant of homosexuality.

picketing funerals I mean come on I not crazy about gays but a picket line at funerals

dose any body agree with this practice,and wich God is leading this campaign?

Aside our own enjoyment, what is the purpose of life.

You might say it's to create/continue future life, but what's the purpose of THOSE lives?

It's not like we're helping the environment.

You know, the whole "We're here for God's entertainment" thing is getting old. Seriously, maybe it's because I'm an atheist, but I think it would've been a lot easier if he would've just gotten Pay-Per-View. [[Or whatever it's called.]]

But still..what is the purpose of life?

Once again I am asking this respectfully. I really am trying to understand Catholicism and your specific beliefs. Not attack them.

I have read some quote recently, and no need to post them here, that seem to lead to the idea that Mary plays a role in salvation. I truly can't see this being the case and wanted your opinion on it. Does Mary play any role in our salvation? Is there a group pushing this idea in Catholicism? If the Pope declared this to be the case what would you think?

Just so people know where I stand. I believe my salvation is based upon Jesus and Him alone.
