My Dad and I were talking the other night about love and marriage.

He told me that he knew as early as their wedding what marriage to my Mom would be like. It seems the minister asked my Mom, "Do you take this man to be your husband." And she said, "I do."

Then the minister asked my Dad, "Do you take this woman to be your wife," and my Mom said, "He does."

Was yours like this?

LOL! That sounds like me...

You know that old saying that men grow up to be their fathers and they marry their mothers?

Sounds like you'll have your hands full, tell the lucky lightbulb that one day. ;)

I'm not married. But, if my wedding is like any other major event in my life, it will be a beautiful disaster. An utterly delightful fiasco.

My wedding was a complete disaster - especially since I decided to leave my fiance at the altar and run away with my boyfriend.

But since then - life's been good!

No. I think we were both scared out of our wits. It was a big step for both of us. By the time the reception came around we were both more relaxed and had alot of fun. Married 11 years.

Honestly I don't remember much of mine. It was a blur. I know it sounded like a good idea at the time. LOL

you want to rile up the feminist crowd? Bring up submission during the vows.

Boy, my mother and sister cringed at that sound.

It has been interesting ever since.
