I always get confused, because Oct 31 = Dec 25.

Just a little math geek humor. Have fun, unless your belief system forbids it.

They were the ones who instigated the crucification of Christ! They are more concerned with filling their needs rather then with the teachings of the mystics.

IT DEPENDS ON THE STRENGTH OF OUR CONVICTION!! Are you buying the lies of Satan such as equal rights?

REAL BELIEVERS, NOT IMPOSTERS; DO YOU BELIEVE THE BIBLE OR NOT?

And don't tell me about "health reasons" since this, I'm sure, would have been a cover-up for real religious/political motivations behind popularizing this procedure. Think about it... if a doctor told you today that by cutting off your child's thumb could possibly prevent some minor healthy problems later, how quickly would you be convinced to do it? So who pushed so hard to get this thing going on a regular basis where religious concerns aren't involved?

Please understand that I am not knocking any religious belief that adheres to this practice. I'm just wondering why someone would do it if it isn't a religious issue for the parent.

In his culture his wife will be picked for him.
Lancet has been to school in the city and wants to choose his own wife.
His family and village forbid this.

What are some ways to improve this situation?

1. Kill one 3-month old to save ten 40-year olds?
2. Kill one 3-month old to save two 40-year olds?
3. Kill one 3-month old to save one 40-year old?

And you don't necessarily have to do the killing yourself. You just decide whether they are to die or not.

The Cathlolic Church celebrates all saints day on thursday. I am confused as to how to distinguish a hero from a saint and saint from a hero whom I believe both are able to do great things or small things for the good of others, for country and for God...in an unselfish motive..

If the answer is Yes, don`t you find these characteristics to be contradictory?

Just - Receive an equal reward or punishment for an action. I.E. You don`t send guy to prison for life for stealing a pack of cigaretts.

Mercy - Rendering less a punishment for an action. The offense outweighs the punishment. I.E. Judge gives a defendant a slap on the wrist with the warning that if you do it again the punishment will be more strict.

How can God be all-merciful and all-just. This does not make any sense.

He's only human, he might have done charitable things and done good things but is he Jesus? Why must you now turn him into a saint and start praying to him? Isn't that the same thing as idolitry? Or would you say, you pray to him so he can intervene for you to God?!

It seems that the world thinks these sins are OK because it is becoming normal.

It is not normal in God's mind.

I stand on the narrow road with the few who follow God.

In your opinion how should i deal with the majority of these kids that i go to school with ? ... im in the 11th grade and just feel like hitting somebody, everyday i go to school and listin to these kids condemn me to a hell because they ease drop on a convo im having with another person and they hear me drop the "I don't believe in god" ?... seriously i pity these kids some times because religion was most likely forced upon them by their parents or another peer. I was baptised catholic, but since the 7th grade ive considered myself agnostic. probably because i was never forced to go to church. I guess my question is what would you guys do... i mean they do plenty of other things to piss me off but religion is something that really gets me. im sure many of you have been or are in the same situation. Just curious as to how you all dealt with it. *Its almost an everyday thing, and thats the only reason i would bother making a question about it*
