There's a much more recent dream about my grandfather...who died when I was eight. I was not allowed to attend the wake or funeral...they thought I was too young. I always felt badly that I never got to say good-bye to him.
Just about one year ago, I dreamed that I was in a hospital room with him (but grown). He tickled me, as he'd done when I was a little child. He had the candy in his shirt pocket, as he always did back then. We talked and had fun.
The seats in this hospital were like church pews, and it was quite dark. We watched wrestling and boxing on the TV, as we'd also done when I was small.
I think Grandpa finally said good-bye to me in this one (and I to him). I no longer feel that resentment of not being allowed to see him during his illness, and when he died.
I think that the dark hospital room with church-like pews represented the wake and/or funeral. Grandpa was actually taken care of at home, by Grandma, my parents, and the doctor, who went over each day to give him shots of morphine. He did not spend time in, or die in a hospital.

My friend bought a japanese doll from Japan for me and I had kept it in my cabinet for a few months. It is actually a very cute doll which I quite like it.
I didnt question the source of the japanese doll but there was just one night i dreamt of this doll came alive.
In this dream, it started to sing and dance. It took me a while to recognise the doll as the doll my friend gave me. Gradually the doll look at me and the face started to get distorted and she turned very hideous looking with the makeup getting smudged all over her face. Her singing also get eerier and eerier
I woked up with a fright and knew that something was wrong with the doll and threw the doll away.
After that, I contacted my friend who gave me the doll and she said that she too saw a spirit came out from the same doll and talked to her and threatened her. She also threw the doll away.
Then I realised that she has bought the dolls outside a Japanese temple.

I had a dream like that about 11 years ago or so and it's still so vivid to me to this day! The part that ISN'T a dream goes like this:
My husband and I were living next to this wonderful older couple that I had known since I was 10 years old. My husband and the other husband were out shoveling snow when my husband told the other husband he had to go inside to check on our son and that he'd be back out in about 5 minutes. My husband went back outside and the other husband never came back out -- come to find out he had gone into his garage to sit down and rest and he had a massive heart attack and died. My husband felt so guilty that he had gone inside -- he though that if he had stayed outside he might have been able to help this man and he may not have died.
Now to the part that IS a dream:
That night I had the most vivid "dream" -- the other husband (the one who died) appeared to me and said "Tell Fred that I'm alright and he couldn't have done anything to help me. I went very quickly."
It was so weird -- I still get goosebumps when I think about it.
