It seems that the world thinks these sins are OK because it is becoming normal.

It is not normal in God's mind.

I stand on the narrow road with the few who follow God.

I am not assuming to know God's mind.

These facts are stated in the Bible. God destroyed gays in Genesis 19th chapter and murder is against God.

These are facts of God's truths not my presumptions.

I do not have any world possessions except a guitar and a computer and some clothes.

I am not worldly. I travel and teach and teach about Jesus.

Before you speak, make sure you are right.

People are not born gay. They choose to be or God is a murderer himself with Sodom and Gamoriah.

Abortion is killing. They try and turn the bbay while in the mom's stomach, then they take they baby out. After that they stick a sharp object in the back of the babies head and suck out the brains of it. Some would say this is not killing a baby? What about when a mother looses her baby? Is that not a death? Get real people ABORTION IS KILLING. The time the mom finds out she is pregnant, is that she has a baby inside of her. Someone being gay is against God. Just because it might be a way for many people, doesn't make it right. Also, because some one is gay and says. " I am in love , it is still wrong. People are really SICK, medicine can't even cure this sickness that somepeople have.

#1. That the god of the bible is the one true god is an opinion, not a fact. It may or may not be true, but that's not the point. The point is, here in the R&S section, it is an opinion that's not even held by the majority.

#2. Define "turning against God"? The God of the Bible, yeah, maybe so, but you know, it isn't right of you to simply say that without specifying which of the many God opinions there are you're referring to. But we recognize that particular brand of illogic, so it's ok. Other "god" figures don't necessarily oppose abortion and homosexuality. As for the Bible's rules, some are accepted, other's aren't. Have you interacted with a women on her period? That's blasphemy!

#3. You use the adjective "sick." You are so far into your opinion you cannot even comprehend how the opposite opinion could exist, and it is so far from you that you consider it vile.

Consider the divorce rate in the US. Rediculous, no? People shouldn't marry just for sex. It should be about love, common interests, and the ability to get along. If you restrict your possible match (considering we're only allowed to have one) to only one gender, you're cutting your choices in half, and increasing your chances of marital failure.

I have a friend who's bi by choice, but truly only desires the opposite gender. However, he fell in love with another male, and they are married now. Even though he wasn't as sexually interested in the other, he didn't deny his love because of it. Truly, is Christianity so primal, so sex driven?

Abortion is not a "sin" in most Christian's eyes, but an area of grey. Certain abortions Christians accept. For instance, a severe ailment that will kill both mother and child if the baby comes to term; virtually all Christians I know agree its ok in that case. The difference isn't if its ok, it's at what point is it ok. It's a spectrum.

Also, it's not that the world thinks its ok because it's becoming normal. It's just the world doesn't think like you do, and more and more people are becoming aware of other issues. Like people who find the soul of a person to be more important than the body (like my above mentioned friend.)

I get so mad when people quote the OT as though it were Gospel (pun intended) but quote me ten rules out of Leviticus, and guaranteed they break at least nine on a regular basis. Yargh.

People have different values in this world - some people's values come from religion. Some of those people practice your religion. Others don't. If you believe in the free will God is said to have granted us, then you shouldn't even have this question - people do what they do because they can and because they want to. Your moral code may or may not come into factor, whether that pleases you or not is irrelevant.

I personally don't agree with abortion in most cases, however, I support choice. I am also a heterosexual, however, I support others' right to sleep with whomever they want - if it's not happening on my sheets, it's not my concern.

I fear for you. God hates self-righteous people.

The reason why you are allowed to notice these problems is because you are being called, being one of God's trusted, to help fix them. If you don't do that because you are satisfied with just condemning that which is part of you, then you are in trouble with God.

Remember, we are one body. Whatever is the condition of one part, affects the rest. We are meant to mutually support each other; to mutually fill in to what is lacking in the other, and vice versa.

Moreover, if you have a humble heart, you would thank these people for showing you how ugly sin can be, and for having assumed the role of sinners for your sake - for you to learn. If you yourself were put in their shoes, and they condemning you instead, how would it be then?

I am afraid for you. Please ask forgiveness from God for such spiritual pride. Subtle sins are more dangerous and serious in the eyes of God. In the long years that I have lived on this earth, I have seen those people condemning others, and in time, are placed in the same situation, just so that they learn humility.

I am serious about this; there is still time. Get out from this self-righteous attitude. And pray, with love for these your brothers and sisters, that they will be enlightened and have the courage to live right.

Why do so many Christians turn against Jesus' exhortation about casting the first stone, and preach and practice such condemnation and hatred as did Jerry Falwell and people like him still do.

I also wonder why people like the one who asked this question are so obsessed with what other people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms?

I wouldn't think that was normal in God's mind either. Maybe that's why the road you're on is narrow. In my opinion, a road and a mind that narrow are both too small to contain God's love and greatness.

How presumptuous of you to profess to know the thoughts of God!

Just in case you didnt know, God is Everything, or God is Nothing.....
Just because your religious views or spiritual beliefs differ from mine, does not make you superior in any way nor does it make either belief any more valid then the other.
What you view as "sick sins" , some may view as blessings from God.......
Who are you to put God in a box and think that you are held up on high to so readily define the Divine Omnipotent All Knowing Creator?

kinda reminds me of a goldfish in a little fishbowl.

Bless you and yours

Because satan is a liar; he deceives people. 2 Thes 2:2-12 says in the last days he will use every form of wicked deceit on the world. 2 Cor 10:3-5 says casting down every imagination that exalts itself against the true knowledge of God. People do not know to do that. They accept what satan tells them. The bible says that satan is a master deceiver and the father of lies.
Just pray for them to God. 2 Tim 2:22-26 talks about prayer to God that He will allow people to come to their senses and to see the truth.
We serve a good God and He will do it if we ask Him. I think if all the Christians were praying for the whole world fervently every day, we'd see a wave of revival and God's grace across this earth like never before.
2 Chronicles 7 says "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven and I will heal their land."
So we've all got to do right as well.

Many Christian's are too selective in which sins they want to enforce. They throw the gays under the bus but give the gluttons a free pass.
God must know sin is normal because everyone is a sinner.

HELLO! It's the 21st century! The bible was written by a bunch of goat-eaters in a far-off country and is not relevant as either historically or (auto)biographically correct.
