1. Kill one 3-month old to save ten 40-year olds?
2. Kill one 3-month old to save two 40-year olds?
3. Kill one 3-month old to save one 40-year old?

And you don't necessarily have to do the killing yourself. You just decide whether they are to die or not.

Wow, I was not expecting this result in the least. Personally, I couldn't justify the taking of many lives over one. When met with circumstances where there is no victory I choose the option that most closely resembles victory. And even when met with the third circumstance I would choose to kill the baby as he would not comprehend his impending doom as well as the 40-year old would.

However, I feel that it would be wrong to impose my own views upon this question, so when the time comes I feel it only right to put this one up to a vote.

It depends, have I had any interaction with said people?

No, I will not kill anyone or anything to save a 40-year old or even ten, two, or one.

Why should you save the 40 year old man or women. Why are they the only ones that needed to be save. And in order to save them you have to kill a 3-month old baby. What did they do in order for you to save them.

As strange as it sounds, that 3-month old doesn't have one thing to worry about in the afterlife. That little one is purer than snow. The 40-year olds need a chance to repent. As a result, I am truly conflicted. If you don't believe in repentance that's cool, but that facet of my faith causes me to consider what kind of eternal impact that would have on their souls as well as my own. I think I'll pray that such a situation never arises, and resolve to kneel and pray for guidance if such a situation should ever arise.

No, I am against any type of killing. This hits home to me because I have a 14 month old boy. No way on earth would I want someone else's baby to be killed. Someone who would kill a baby has got to be out their right mind! No, I would not want someone to kill a baby, I won't ever be the person giving someone advice like that. I would say,"give the baby up, don't kill an innocent baby."

THIS QUESTION IS SAD AND SICK!!!!!

It would really depend on the specific situation. As is, without details, I can't say that I would kill a baby to save an adult of any age.

No. Any 40 year old worth saving would want to sacrifice themselves for a baby anyway.

If 20 were men and 20 were women, they could make 20 more 3-month olds couldn't they?

Unless some of the people involved are people I know personally, I wouldn't make such a choice. I would just let the chips fall as they may.
