Did you know that your name is already in that book, before you were born? Did you know that God already knew what we would do, and is here for us anytime we need Him to help us through something? God loves us and knows exactly what we are going through, God took Jesus, free and perfect from sin, something not a one of us would ever be able to accomplish, since we are born into sin, born into the ability to lie, cheat or steal, if we think we were righteous, we deceive ourselves, Jesus was free from sin, and went to that cross, as a final sacrifice so that are sins could be banished, so that we could become new, and we should accept that gift and not fight it, God knows every detail about us, and wants us to come to Him, why do so many turn God down for unbelief and fall directly into satans hands, that is just too hard for me to not understand why you would say I don't care where I go to Your Father.

Don't you think that God himself made all his creation with the help of science?
Than who invented the laws of sciences if not God, because people only discovered them?
Can anyone change the gravitation law? - I guess no.
THEN.......WHY?

I have 3 CDs of songs inspired by the Passion of the Christ movie. On one of them, there is a song by contemporary Country artists Sara Evans and Brad Paisley. In the song, Brad sings Jesus' part, as he is hanging on the cross and reassuring his mother. Sara sings the part of Mary, who is questioning if this could really be God's will and Jesus is responding by telling her not to put faith in what her eyes are seeing in the physical realm, but to understand that it is all part of the mission to make all things "new again".

The first time I heard it, and many subsequent times, I was bawling. Many friends I have shared it with have too. If anyone hasn't heard it and wants to, give me a shot out and I will arrange to e-mail you an mp3 so you can hear it. :)

Earlier in the year I thought I had truly found God. I went to this youth group a few times. Went to church BY MYSELF..catholic mass.

Last year I was completely hostile with myself and depressed. I was not functioning properly. Fortunately, I have pretty much made peace When this whole revelation took place, I was all about getting to know God more and more. I flet like he helped me get through the last 2 years, because I was always so upset and lonely. However, lately, for the first time Im getting told that I look pretty and happy and skinny, and for the first time I am out having fun at parties. It is my senior year, and all I can think about is having fun.

I feel so selfish, and guilty. I feel like I have betrayed him.In a way, he is on the back shelf of my mind.

I am sad. I just cant get into the whole "pray convos" that i used to always have with him. I just feel like I am taking it all for granted. Please INSPIRE ME

Most people know about Damien, the character from "Omen" who is the Antichrist. But do most or all Christian religions and/ or sects believe that this antichrist will rule the entire world.

I know that Jehovah Witnesses believe it. As well as the fact that there will be one single monetary unit. It's also believed (just as it says in the Apocalypse) that whomever does not posses the mark of the beast in them, will not be able to buy or sell or do any commerce.

I think it's called the CMB, and what I'm wondering is, has the exact level been determined scientifically?

Church folks are always saying how so many people in this country believe in the trinity (Jesus, God and the Sacred Phantom) that it must be true.

Has the CMB actually been achieved, and therfore the trinity has now become a reality?

Yesterday I asked a question wondering why christians who believe the Bible and creation can say God created people as homosexuals. I get about 18 answers saying they think it is wrong for Christians for Christians to say God makes peole to be homosexuals and maybe 2-3 answers that say they think it is ok for Christians to support homosexuals and even to go aganst what the Bible says and say God even makes them that way. Today I see I received a violation notice. LOL. What a sham. I did nothing worthy of a violation. I just wanted people's thoughts on the matter. I don't care if you like homosexuals or dislike them. What a sham.

I ask this because of the following message I received:

Hello RAKSHAS (rakshas04),

You have received a message from another user!

From: A MUSLIM

Subject: reply to your answer

Message: how convinient is that!
when a question is about osama and so called islamic terrorism, you find the questions very spiritual, is it? you are no one to advise me what this forum is for. If people like dhakkan singh, buddha brother...etc have a right to visit this forum, then it is for everyone and anything. This is exactly the attitude i was referring to in my question. You don't need to give any seperate answer, you have actually answered my question. Only thing i can't give you points for this. i want to tell you and all those who are like you, stop for a moment and think where is this fire of terrorism coming from. Definetly not islam, but are muslims reacting to any injustice? may be yes!!!

I mean is this the kind of spew we are here to take or give or discuss?

Why Bears, why not Robots,or just make the children not exist,it seems to me a rather strange and terrible way to get rid of a few noisy children. Please don't say"we don't know the mind of God"because most of you spend your time on here claiming that you do know.

Honestly, it's been translated SO many times, it's lost it's meaning. And ever think it was just a story? I mean really, women are hated because EVE was convinced by a TALKING SNAKE to eat an apple of a certain tree...oh, ya, EVERY women on earth should be punished for something like that. ya. ok. so if one black person steals something, EVERY black person on this earth should suffer?

And it's written like a story..with metaphors and all..but people take them SERIOUSLY...the earth was made in 7 days...people believe that??? It was MEANT to say 7 billion years or something...if it wasn't..well it proves my point even more that it's fiction.

And why is being gay so bad? Sure, they can't make kids, but we dont need more kids anyway! They adopt! HELLO?? So if being gay is 'satans' doing, then its not THEIR fault! Being gay is natural ANYWAY if you knew anything about science. ANIMALS have been gay.

Here is an atheist argument:

Atheists attack this by saying that if faith is a good way to establish truth, then most people would come to the same conclusion. Only one-third of the world's population is Christian.

Here is my rebuttal:

The feeling of the Holy Spirit is undeniable. It can touch you but you have to WANT it to and too many people do not try.An atheist could give a lip service prayer and not put his heart in it AT ALL and yet he thinks God will answer this?

You have to really try.

Remember the story of Cain and Abel? Cain gave a sacrifice to God that was half-hearted. God will not respond in a positive manner unless you really give your heart to him.

Also, people belong to other religions because they fell away from the truth. Satan inspired other religions that worshipped Baal for example and these religions spread while Judaism did not because the Jews were God's chosen people and Jesus had not come yet so times were different when it come to converting

The article deals with the appearance of AIDS in 1980s London and the attitude of both gay and heterosexuals to the disease as it gradually swept through London and other major cities.

I would be very grateful for comments from Christians, atheists, agnostics and other people of faith on what you think of the piece and aslo what your thoughts are re AIDS and faith.

here is the link to the short piece:
