I have 3 CDs of songs inspired by the Passion of the Christ movie. On one of them, there is a song by contemporary Country artists Sara Evans and Brad Paisley. In the song, Brad sings Jesus' part, as he is hanging on the cross and reassuring his mother. Sara sings the part of Mary, who is questioning if this could really be God's will and Jesus is responding by telling her not to put faith in what her eyes are seeing in the physical realm, but to understand that it is all part of the mission to make all things "new again".

The first time I heard it, and many subsequent times, I was bawling. Many friends I have shared it with have too. If anyone hasn't heard it and wants to, give me a shot out and I will arrange to e-mail you an mp3 so you can hear it. :)

Thanx, everyone, esp. Troll for posting up the lyrics. Why didn't I think of that? DUH!

To "Hey": Jesus is NOT dead. he is very much alive. If you know anything about the Bible, I would suggest you read the book of Hebrews which explains what He is doing today--acting as our High Priest and Mediator. He is also preparing to come again for those who believe in Him.

Those of you who want to hear it, and who's e-mail address I have, I will send out an MP3 to you right away. Those of you who haven't, and whose e-mail address I don't have, I'm sorry you haven't heard it yet. I would encourage you to find it on the net like one of the posters did.

To the poster who said it's not their type of music. LOL. I understand. Country was never my thing either, until a friend of mine got me into listening to some of the more upbeat modern country. At any rate, we can all relate to the message, if we are believers. Makes no difference :)

God bless one and all!

I searched this song from the U-Tube and I like it a lot. I have also watched this movie again. Powerful.

It is not easy to be in the center of God's will, but if that is the only way to complete the plan, then we need to follow it. In the midst of the sorrow and hardships we need to remind ourseves about the BIG PICTURE. We all have our doubs and we all have our struggles, but when we compare our hardship to what our Lord, Jesus went through for us, we can see that we have hardly suffered.

Jews did not kill Jesus, ruthles Romas did not kill Him.He gave His life so that no one of us have to be separatedf rom Him in eternity. He died for all of our sins, every single one of them. And if anyone rejects His generous offer or says that we need to do deeds for our salvation, they are either spitting on the cross or they suggest that what Jesus did is not enough. If Jesus did not do enough, what do you think would be enough from our part??

He fulfilled the Bible prophecy so that He can make all things New. And when we start this new life in Christ, we do not have to wait until we die. We want to do everything to honor our God. It is not that we need to be thankful for our hardships, it is that we need to give Him thanks in all circumstances.

Like when John the Baptist asken in prison if Jesus really is the Messiah or should we wait for other one coming, Jesus said that we should not look at our own circumstances. We need to look around and see how God's will is done around us despite what we are going through. And did on get out from the prison, no, he ended up his head on the plate. But He is going to spend His eternal life with God.

When Jesus was beaten and hanging on the cross, many people prayed for Him. There is seen and unseen. We need to learn from this that we should always pray God's will be done, and we should trust that everything happens according to His plan and He will keep His promises. Jesus died, but He conquered the death. God is alive. He did what He promised, and He always will.

New Again

Mother - do not cry for me
All of this is exactly how it's supposed to be
I'm right here. Can you hear my voice?
My life, my love, my Lord....my baby boy

As they nail me to this tree
Just know my Father waits for me
God how can this be your will?
To have your son and my son killed?

Whatever happens...whatever you see...
Whatever your eyes tell you has become of me
This is not...
Not the end...
I am making all things new again

I remember when you were born
In that manger where I first held
You in my arms
So many miracles and lives you've changed
And this world repays you how?
With all this pain
