Don't you think that God himself made all his creation with the help of science?
Than who invented the laws of sciences if not God, because people only discovered them?
Can anyone change the gravitation law? - I guess no.
THEN.......WHY?

No contradiction in the minds of the believers.

If a person believes in God, then they would automatically accept science as being the vessel which is filled with parables (or signs) for his intelligent creations to absorb as a means to help reinforce their belief in His existence.

There is a divine stamp on everything that exists, some are easier to find than others.

The law of gravitation is natural law, just as the orbiting of the planets and formation of galaxies, etc. Nobody or nothing can change those laws. God is simply a figment of your imagination, promoted by various cultures dating back to the Stone Age. Scientific principles were not invented, but rather discovered through evolution of human logic and reason. It is human nature to need answers to all questions. Unfortunately, there are still some questions which Science is unable to answer AT THIS TIME. But in the future, religion will go the way of the dinosaur. Trust me on this.

Apparently there is no contradiction in Buddhism because the Buddha said something along the lines of "don't believe me - find out for yourself". The Roman Catholic church apparently takes the stance that there can be no contradiction's since both "are the revealed truth" but then the RC always did take 600 years to admit it had lost an argument, so this probably a useful new tactic. The tension between science and religion is not about who's right or wrong, it's about solid evidence against literalism and faith. I can tell you, sorting that argument out is a useless activity. The faithful can't abandon faith because of logic or evidence - they believe and it won't go away and the logical can't just believe even they want to.

Artists are also going to fall out with churches, because they play with inspiration, symbol and metaphor. The churches rely on revelation promoted by inspiring symbols and metaphors - they like the nice stained glass windows, but just leave it at that please, no more allegories unless sanctioned by committee - thank you!

Nope, God invented science, except these scientists are always looking with blinded eyes, because they won't understand when they cannot find a logical explanation, if you had the devil in you, what would be thier explanation, oh your just crazy, if they can't find why a rock is in a certain place, it must be because of this, that or the other, God put that rock there, God created us, and unless they believe it or experience it they won't know they could of had the truth a long time ago, but yet they get frustrated because they keep trying to find that truth somewhere else, that it never has been.
God is the only one that can do these things.

I don't think there's a conflict between science and religion per se. Science, especially some aspects of Quantum Mechanics, seem to harmonize well with Taoism and pantheism.

The real conflict is between religious authoritarianism and science. Many religions get their 'truths' from some prophet or messianic figure or priesthood who claim some special sort of authority that laypersons don't have. Since they communicate directly with the Big Man Upstairs--or so they claim--you have to accept their dogmas uncritically or risk divine punishment. It's not so bad when they make statements that are entirely unempirical about angels and the nature of god that can never be proven or disproven.

Where the conflict comes in is when they claim some absolute knowledge about the emprical world--how the diversity of animal life came about, the shape of the Earth itself, and whether the Earth revolves around the Sun or vice versa. The trouble occurs when some scientist makes a claim that contricts the Official Truth and backs it up with a photograph or astronomical chart. In a theocratic system, you simply burn the scientists at the stake for heresy; in a secular democracy, they resort to spin control (ID anybody?) instead...

Wow, what an original question.
Scientists have nothing really to say about god in a professional sense. When they investigate physical phenomena, they search for tangible causes, god is not a tangible cause, they simply ignore that.

Christians and other fundamentalists insist that science is wrong and the bible is right. Science says that certain passages of the bible or Koran or whatever, especially related to science, are wrong. They say nothing about the existence of god.

Fundamentalists can't handle that, the entire holy book must be right. Even the parts that contradict the other parts.

I believe God made the universe and this universe has scientific laws, but the way God created the universe need not be scientific. God made the scientific laws, but humans only discovered them billions of years later.

From what I understand, science is the accumulated knowledge that humans have gathered through investigations, observations and experimentation. The use of the scientific method discovered these laws.

I don't believe gods made anything. Humans invented gods. Then humans gradually came up with a better way to explain natural processes - science. Unfortunately, some people don't like being told there's no Santa Claus - particularly when it causes the collection plates to come back empty.

Science & Religion are trying to answer different questions.
Religion is interested in why things are the way they are.
Science is trying to find out how things got that way.
Both may have mistaken or incomplete answers (theories).
But ultimately Science cannot disprove GOD exists.
Science cannot discover anything which GOD has not made.
