Did you know that your name is already in that book, before you were born? Did you know that God already knew what we would do, and is here for us anytime we need Him to help us through something? God loves us and knows exactly what we are going through, God took Jesus, free and perfect from sin, something not a one of us would ever be able to accomplish, since we are born into sin, born into the ability to lie, cheat or steal, if we think we were righteous, we deceive ourselves, Jesus was free from sin, and went to that cross, as a final sacrifice so that are sins could be banished, so that we could become new, and we should accept that gift and not fight it, God knows every detail about us, and wants us to come to Him, why do so many turn God down for unbelief and fall directly into satans hands, that is just too hard for me to not understand why you would say I don't care where I go to Your Father.

Congratualations!!! It sounds as if you are in a good church. That is so important in this day and age of non believers. Continue to attend church and read your bible daily and you will learn more about God and all that He has done for you.

"why do so many turn God down for unbelief"

ok: why not? There are many other religions with more or less as impressive claims as yours. Mine, Bokononism, claims that God created man and when man asked why he was created God just left. Not that I believe it, but it's a possibility, right? Why don't you believe that?
Oh, and I always thought that the idea was that Jesus actually could have sinned but that he was able to lead a sinless life by sheer force of will?

Sometimes it is hard for us to accept the fact that they have hardened their hearts against God. As loving salvationists (I'm saying that because people use the term christian loosely these days to mean the wrong thing) we should care about all. I mentioned this in my Sunday School class last week that for some you can open up the Bible, teach to them what it takes to become saved, and they will come to know the Lord as their Savior. Other times you mighty want to close the Bible and hit them over the head with it and you still could not reach them.

Yes and we can truly say that the only righteousness in us is Jesus Christ. I thank the Lord every day for the Holy Spirit in me. Keep learning the Word of God and remember God said that it is line upon line, precept upon precept and here a little and there a little. Learn that certain words mean certain things and the Bible is a layer of occurences. Absolutely the most magnificent Scripture in all of creation is God's Holy Word. Praise the Lord.

I believe all of it and can prove it but only to believers because all these ignorant people that dont believe because they are only closing their minds to the best thing that exist, and unfortunately will be condemned to hell if they do not find their way to salvation

anyways... the question u asked

God's understanding is so far more greater than ours... He has a plan for every single person he creates...before we are concieved... its so awesome its hard to believe but its beyond our understanding as we are mere flesh created by God..... His reasoning for each person who finds God and serves his purpose which God has for them is for a bigger reason ,,, or greater good an ultimate plan in the end..

.... that must have been a great service.... God knows us far better than we do and he knows our potentials and what we are capable of as well God Bless YOU

No offence, but trying to prove God exists any more than Santa Claus, the tooth fairy or the Easter bunny, is what the Church should be concentrating on. Faith alone is not enough for most people these days with all of the bad things going on in the world.

I used to go to church but the preacher was too hung up on gay marriage & his anger expressed towards homosexuals was just a sign of hatred which goes against God's word, correct?

Most of the Bible is man's interpretation and the church does not want the world to see the ENTIRE Bible. And since humans are very weak, I can't rely on their interpretation of the Bible. I'm sure if we were to see the whole Bible as it was supposedly written, then viewpoints would change. That is what the church is afraid of. This is bad of the church to me because they are not letting people decide on their own. Nobody should have to go to a church to get the answers. Read the Bible for yourself & get your own understanding from it and believe what you want from it as long as it is positive to yourself & society.

I personally would like to know more about Jesus' life other than just his birth & only after he was 27 years old or so. Why doesn't the Church want people to know about other parts of his life? I think there are things the Church doesn't want us to know & that is biased & wrong.

I just have a hard time believing what someone tells me just because they read it from a book, any book.

Just my opinion. Peace.

I am happy for you, truly I am. My question as a small child was:
If Mary gave birth to Jesus, and it was the three wise men and all those other people before Jesus was born, what happen to their wrongs and rights (their sins), if we are born into sin and Jesus came to take it away?
I asked that question @ the age of 11 to a minister and he told me, "DON'T QUESTION THE BIBLE, BELIEVE WHAT IT SAYS."
From then on I think for myself, for what seems and appears logical for me.
You just keep doing what you are doing. Perhaps this is what's needed for you at this time, to get you to the place where you will understand better.

Good Point! Sometimes if we remember God Knows The Beginning From The End, we wonder, if he knew, why didn't he change it? Our father does know complete knowledge of past and future. That's why he gave us free will. He wants us to choose him freely. But I feel he already knows if we will or not. This really makes me feel comfortable, because I know he already knows all of me and my life, and he loves me so much, and this makes you know, stick with his will, do the best you can, HE IS ALWAYS LOVING US AND TAKING CARE OF US! Good Question! trosem

I also believe in God. However, I do not think our name is written in the "Book" until we ask for forgiveness. I know God loves us all, but you even said we are all born into sin. I do believe God has given us the choice to receive or not receive him. I am not trying to disagree with a fellow Christian! Please do not take this that way! Love in Christ. :)

Lynn I have known this since I could speak words...You see, GOD our loving creator knew all about us all before HE created anything LYNN the bible says that HE knows the very numbers of hairs that are upon our heads so I KNOW that you can't HIDE your feelings from someone who is around you constantly!
But the bible says that HE loves us!*Correction*: The bible says that GOD is LOVE so tell me why do we search through numerous dating sites looking for love???
Silly, don't you think??? GOD knows what we need before we ask HIM! LynnC please understand this, if anyone truly knows...IT MUST be GOD HE must know Lynn and HE truly loves us all! That's why JESUS died for us right??? Fonzie XOXO
