Yesterday I asked a question wondering why christians who believe the Bible and creation can say God created people as homosexuals. I get about 18 answers saying they think it is wrong for Christians for Christians to say God makes peole to be homosexuals and maybe 2-3 answers that say they think it is ok for Christians to support homosexuals and even to go aganst what the Bible says and say God even makes them that way. Today I see I received a violation notice. LOL. What a sham. I did nothing worthy of a violation. I just wanted people's thoughts on the matter. I don't care if you like homosexuals or dislike them. What a sham.

well i have noticed that people are completely incapable of answering the question that is asked. I
I dont think that yahoo look too deeply (if at all) to "reports". So I wouldn't say it was a sham, just imperfect like many things in life.
however if you want a genuine, honest answer to a question yahoo answers is not the place to ask it

There are violation notices flying left and right. I highly doubt there's even one person here who hasn't gotten at least one. Here's what I don't understand. This is a Q&A forum,right? If you don't ask an actual question,you are in violation of community guidelines. But then Yahoo has a Riddles and Jokes category where of course riddles and jokes are posted. But where is the actual question as required by the guidelines? Shouldn't the guidelines pertain to each category equally? So why get violations for not asking an actual question elsewhere? Now I'm not saying each person who posts a riddle or joke should get a violation.I'm just saying I think the community guidelines need to be amended in a big way so there won't be so many useless and pointless reporting.

"violation notice" emails are a way of life.
You are guaranteed to get them if you disagree with any other group. In my case, I am a faithful Christian.

I actually ENJOY getting hate and death-threat e-mails (mostly from muslims who at the same time call themselves "peaceful").

I get violation notices because I tell the truth ... forget about any "appealing" them, though, because it's just soooo much easier to start fresh if they delete your account.
That's why, if you use Yahoo for your main email ... then DON'T use it as your Yahoo Answers I.D. You never know when some Yahoo Administrator will take offense to the most innocent of answers and just delete your account.

Even I got a violation notice today because I told someone to raise her children to be good people.
Now I think I will reciprocate. I guess I know who the trolls are going on reporting people's responses.
These idiots need to be reported, no matter what they write!

Amen. I percieve they are breaking their own rules for lack of wisdom! For me too. they even deleted my question and afterwards, i receive a violation notice. my perception Yahoo Q & A is mainly operated by automation, a machine that does not know anything the given rules but program to just let other users delete questions they do not like and then machine will automatically just give you a notice. for it doesn't know really know what's going on. Rules may apply or not they machine just take it as some sort of violation. And don't understand what's really going on. maybe this is to say good bye to Q& A. Thank you to all who shares their views especially to R & S. Truly my heart is so sorrowful to see people ignorantly do not see the truth of God and Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
I better focus on God's Holy Words and share to other site the things God and Lord Jesus Christ has shown me and wanted me to share to others who are wiser and to listen to God and Lord Jesus Christ Holy Words. Voice your opinion because you get a chance to disagree and keep going. They must acknowledge every "Report It" that they get.
God didn't put any homosexual genes in man - sin did. Most homosexuals are ancestral curses or children abused by older homosexuals. Even some teenagers think because the opposite sex doesn't pay them a lot of attention, that they may be homosexual. Of course, this is not true but it is thrown in their faces in today's world. Often small men believe they are homosexual because they have a small build, but then you see foot ball players also. Sex is sex and sex addicts never stop until they have tried every perverted sex out there. Drugs have a whole lot to do with the increase in homosexuality, because on drugs anything goes. Our nation is littered in sin and we are reaping what we have let be sewn in this country.

I agree. It IS ridiculous.
People can post rude and vulgar questions (like the one yesterday about making a Jesus action figure havbe sex with Barbie), yet we get violation notices for saying, "God has blesed me."
