To the last person, I don't live in Provo, that's just one of my stops.

I really hope your not being sarcastic, in making a reference to provo. I live here, in provo, and I'll kick your butt, if your making fun of it.

Fishgutts is exactly right! Provo (Utah Vally, aka Happy Valley) is full of Mormons, many of whom are very self-righteous and snobby, but also many of whom are very nice. I live in Cedar City, Utah, about 3 or so hours south of Provo towards Vegas. I'm a former Mormon turned Catholic after I moved to Utah, which is a hard place to be Mormon if you're actually wanting to be sincere in your beliefs and not be a hypocrite!

Anyway, about Zarhemla, I'm not sure where it is, I don't think it exists at all now, but the movie in theaters (in Utah at least) called "Passage to Zarahemla was filmed in southern Utah, many parts right here in Cedar City, and a few seens actually right at my apartment building! Go watch that movie, maybe it'll give you some clues on where Zarahemla is, I haven't seen it yet, but plan to soon.

No Book of Mormon location is known with reference to modern topography. Biblical archaeology can be studied because we do know where Jerusalem and Jericho were and are, but we do not know where Zarahemla and Bountiful (nor any other location for that matter) were or are. It would seem then that a concentration on geography should be the first order of business, but we have already seen that twenty years of such an approach has left us empty-handed (Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, Summer 1969, pp.76-78).

Proceed south on I-15 and then southeast toward Mexico. One general thought is that Zarahemla is located in the northern tip of Guatemala, just east of the Chiapas province.

Don't be knocking Provo!!! I live across the Lake from there, and it's a nice place. You are just being rude and mean, and there is no way you were just converted. If you were, prove it!!! Tell me what the third discussion was about.

Travel south for a long, long time. Then stop and there you are.

Provo sucks. Freaking happy valley.
