A fundamentalist just said this meaning that if God didn't give us free will, it would be un-godlike. If he just programmed us to love him it would even be cruel. Here's more:

"Adam and Eve were made to love God. Would that love be genuine if it was forced? If they had no choice? Forced love wouldn't be love at all, in fact it would be cruel and un-Godlike."

So if that would be cruel, what do you call it when a god creates beings capable of experiencing pain knowing that their ultimate destiny is eternal torment?

I would like fundamentalists to answer, but ,of course, everybody's welcome.

And if you're just going to say, "Hell is a choice," "People send themselves to Hell" or as a fundamentalist member named Isaiah once said to me, "Read it and weep, sweetie," then don't bother answering, please. I'm looking for OTHER answers to this pivotal question.

After I pay all the mortgage, all the grocery expenses, all the medical expenses, gasoline, school expenses, clothing for son, household repair expenses, car repair expenses. I can hardly make ends meet as it is. I honestly don't know where the money would come from. I shop at Aldi's for food, don't ever buy myself new clothes or shoes, only buy things on sale for son, cut my own hair, son cuts his own hair. Please advise.

What are the differences in all of the bibles, i.e the NIV, KJV,NKJ, NCV, etc.... I mean, the bible is the bible, right? So what is the differences in the versions? Have things been changed in each one? I don't understand.....

Why do you guys go to this. Confession was created to the church as a way to scam people out of their money. Today however we still use this tradition (however it is free of cost)I personally think you should repent to God in your house. Not repent to some priest.

If you believe in evolution, all these things are a part of that, and there is no other answer, or reason to look for one. Everything is just a curious but natural result of some strange and astronomical coincidences, which take great faith to believe.
This also means that there is no reason for life ("reason for life" meaning some being capable of reasoning, planed all this.) No reason, no value.
The universe is pointless (and logicaly, it must be so, unless someone had a point in puting it here) and if people die or suffer, it doesn´t matter unless you put artificial meaning to it.

If, God The Creator, has awakened you to the great invitation he has made through the Holy Offering given in the brutal and bloody suffering of Jesus Christ, you can see that all this is the natural outcome of rebellion towards God.
You can only know this if God has touched you personaly.
It isn't a matter of logic, or intelect and is not a result of believing the Bible. It is the knowing of God.

My older sister and I got into a huge verbal argument. I became fed up and called her a f**king c**t and she got mad as hell. She dragged me by the arm to the kitchen sink and pinned me against it . She grabbed the bottle of Palmolive dish liquid, and forced some of that horrid stuff in my mouth. When I was able to get away I ran to the bathroom and did my best to rinse out my mouth; by adding water it made it foam up more. I still can't get this horrible taste out of my mouth; I've been rinsing it for hours.

apart from the times i ignore God because i ould rther do something else (too lazy to pray)...i think my greatest sin is intolerance ....of my faith, of my Church and especially of my God....within that intolerance is my firm opinion (erroneous i know!!) that i am right and those that disagree with me r idiots. many apologies to those on this site i have called an idiot...what say you?

Who of you hasn't wanted to be God? To have the ability to change things that you felt were wrong about the world. Maybe you wanted the night sky to be green, or the sunto be purple; maybe you wanted to do whatever you wanted whenever-however-anyever-anytime you wanted. Let's say you already had this power and were all alone and decided to create your new best friend Lucifer. I am fairly new to my church and really like it there, but something happened today that is really upsetting me. I go to a smaller church, and I have a 13 month old baby boy. When I took him back there today the pastors wife was there until the other girls came to watch the little ones for service. Well after church was all done I go to get Logan and a couple of other moms come and get their little ones and are gone. Well the girls that were watching the tots just left the nursery and didnt make sure that all of the moms came for thir kids. The pastors wife has a boy 2 weeks older than mine and he was just sitting on the floor with a regular cup full of red juice and his mom wasnt there to get him yet. They just left the room like their job was all done!! What if that would have been my baby???? I am very upset about this, am I over reacting? Who should I bring this too....I dont want to leave Logan in these girls care anymore at all.
