Who of you hasn't wanted to be God? To have the ability to change things that you felt were wrong about the world. Maybe you wanted the night sky to be green, or the sunto be purple; maybe you wanted to do whatever you wanted whenever-however-anyever-anytime you wanted. Let's say you already had this power and were all alone and decided to create your new best friend Lucifer. But Lucy Baby was jealous because you didnt turn the sun purple even just for a moment, "I AM GOD"; so Lucky talks to all your other creations and they like say "Hey buddy" you got a big head-lets just make the sun psychedelic and then everyone is happy. This only infuriates you because YOU ARE GOD, Goddammit, you will not challenge my word. So this place called heaven is now calling you a tyrant and Lucy tries to throw water on the sun just to put it out; and now because he wouldn't listen to you and had eceryone wanting to Mutiny to turn him into sAtAn and throw all his buddies into A BURNING LAKE-U R GOD!amen

I tell you what right now, that is playing with fire, why would you ask someone if they were God, God is God, The God, Don't test God, it is not good, Satan is an example of that, and you know where satan and all his followers are at now, roaming around bouncing back and forth from hell, when Jesus Christ returns, they will be thrown in that firery pit for good.

So that's your answer. Burn anything your afraid of or don't understand. Get some backbone, will ya. Just like the church lady in Silent Hill, " Burn'em, Burn'em" Satan is not the major cause of evil here, mankind is. The biggest evil ever committed is when good people do nothing. God doesn't sentence the burning, people do.

Well, God is love. God loved all His creations. I suppose it would have been like burning your own child forever because it was a rebellious big-headed brat. He Did however throw him out of Heaven and let him know he could never come back.

God is creator of all--the universe and everything in it. Angels are created beings also. Satan, who is an angel (created by God) rebelled against God. Satan has his followers also. God gave us a free will--you may choose to obey and trust God, or you may choose to follow Satan. God made a way for us to have complete fellowship with Him and be adopted as one of His children--that was through His son, Christ Jesus. As for me, I know I am weak and a sinner, but I choose to follow God. Because, I know the rest of the story.

If God burned Satan, who would "test" humans, trying to seduce them?

No, Satan is a functional being. An omnipotent being like God made it the way it is, all-knowing the consequences.
i.e. he already KNEW that there would be atheism and he's OK with that.

All atheists can relax with this knowledge.

If I was God the all powerful all knowing and all creator I woulda just fried Satan and his friends and created some NEW angels. Wouldnt have even considered hell. I'd have eliminated a lot of suffering.

... but that's just me.

Not only for that, but for dragging all those millions of lost souls with him! satan's still at work, and he always has been. It's not like he just made one little mistake and was sorry for it. Sympathy for the devil??????

Obviously, if God is all Goddy and stuff then Satan exists because God wants him to...to scare people into worshipping him.

If God would concede me His omnipotence for 24 hours, you would see how many changes I would make in the world. But if He gave me His wisdom too, I would leave things as they are.
