apart from the times i ignore God because i ould rther do something else (too lazy to pray)...i think my greatest sin is intolerance ....of my faith, of my Church and especially of my God....within that intolerance is my firm opinion (erroneous i know!!) that i am right and those that disagree with me r idiots. many apologies to those on this site i have called an idiot...what say you?

Oh, what a good question! It embraces EVERYBODY!

PRIDE. It's the one sin that covers everything, when you stop and think about it. I'm too proud to admit I'm a sinner and need help. I'm too proud to bend the knee and ask for forgiveness. I'm too proud to humble myself and confess that I need Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I'm too proud to ask for God's will to be done, instead of my own.

Been there, done that. I'm still a sinner and I still suffer from pride. But at least I know I am! I need God's help and grace more than I need oxygen. I pray God will help me to overcome.

Hard to say, When I was younger, I stole, was promiscuous and some other things. Now that I'm older I have definitely grown up and left those ways. Now, my greatest sin may be the occasional white lie. Oh, and blasphemy. I deny god and the holy ghosts, I should say I have no belief, You can't "deny" something you have no belief in.

My sin is the same as the one you describe, I just call it pride.

Either way, it sure gets in the way of one trying to learn humility.

EDIT: to those of you that think that blasphemy is denial of God's existence. IT IS NOT.

Blasphemy is giving credit for what God has done to the devil and or his demons. A house divided against itself cannot stand and will fall.
Jesus was healing people and the leaders of the temples were declaring that the healings came NOT from God, but from the devil himself. Jesus called them blasphemous and declared their admission into hell for eternity.

Why do you ask questions like this and make these statements. What are you trying to acomplish? are you bored? frustrated? acting out or venting? We all do it but if it is just curiosity or to get attention, maybe you should really believe in yourself more and know that God made you to be so much more. I am a sinful person, yes, and I hate it, so I do pray alot. I also deny myself worldly things and focus on true joy and helping others. I do not know you but hope for joy in your life, please find true good in you and let God show you the kind of person He made in you.

Don't you mean, "Everybody only, please?"

Even though I'm atheist, I'll go ahead and answer this one.

When I was still Christian, I would say my greatest sin (eventually) was hating God. That was my last sin before deciding that God didn't exist.

Of course, now I guess it would be blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. :)

I am truly a self-absorbed person. I try to do good things for others and treat them well, but when it's all said and done I will have spent the majority of my time pursuing my own selfish interests. Alright, time to go put on a hair shirt and repent! LOL

Being extremely introverted and having an anxiety disorder, I too am extremely self-absorbed at times. I require too much "down time" to recover from interacting with people and I baby/pamper myself too much.
I'm also lazy... When I should be out Witnessing or cleaning my house, I'm playing video games or sleeping or something.

Before I actually believed that Jesus Christ did go to the cross for my sins, Now I Know, and It is written.

I don't believe in sin. Therefore I cannot commit one. Take responsibility for your mistakes and stop putting labels on people.

I believe that pride is the mother of all sin and I am very guilty of it. Thank goodness that I am a forgiven failure!!
