are true Christians? Can't we just let our differences rest for one day at least?

One can be a Christian theologically(even if deficiently) as in accepting the Nicene Creed's teachings on Christ and the Trinity ,but at the same time be in attitude ,language or behavior towards others as distant from Christian ethics and spirituality as possible.

I think most Fund. Prot. Anti Catholics( and Lib.Prot. ones too) are obsessed with their jihads against Catholics that they cannot "give it a rest' even for one day. I'm sure that there are Catholics and Orthodox and Non Christians in the same personality"development".

I think that those folks need deep therapy and maybe more ruffage and prunes in their diet.

From what I've seen the True Christians here are far from being the majority and I'm sure they would not fight with you at any time, even if they were Protestants, because you worship the same God(supposedly).

Hence people fighting with you at any time are not True Christians

You know fellow Christians. We are all in a lifeboat called salvation and there are millions of people outside the boat drowning and we argue about what color to paint the boat and who is a better passenger and which way to row. If we continue like this the U.S. will be like Europe where churches are historical landmarks that children driveby and ask there parents what were churches for and their parents will respond "I don't know I've never been in one."

No, and it seems that every time I answer a "sincere" question about Catholics with facts, I get violation notices.
The only exception is CJ, who has let me know that he is a "true" Christian and everyone else in not a "true" Christian.

Unfortunately when told to convert everyone - some people do not care for feelings - they want converts to their faith; so no rest for these people.
Hope your Sunday is quiet.

Let's let them rest for good. When Christians fight amongst themselves, only the devil smiles.

*Oh- and atheists. Thanks for reminding me, Darwinsfriend.
