Now, a majority of Christians said that they'd try and show him/her that there's only one God, or at the least give him/her no consideration. But here's something for you. You guys say that the End of Times is near, well, what if the same person that says "I'm God" is...well...Jesus...How would you know if that was Jesus or not? What if he/she is and you just tried to convert them or called cops, etc.? I'm just wondering....no need to be mean, merely wondering.

If you did convert, I am really curious to know what it was that you believed before, and especially, what it was that made you turn to the truth.

I myself am a life-long Catholic, but I am always curious to know what it is that brings others and love hearing stories of how the Holy Spirit works within us, to open up our eyes to the truth. The Easter Vigil mass is my favorite all year...when we witness the baptism of those becoming Catholic. It is a beautiful mass and I am just filled with emotion at the site of seeing others being born into a life with God.

So please, share your stories. I would love to hear them.

I asked a similar question earlier, but I think the question was too vague to get a insightful response.

I am not asking why it was God's will to create humans, or creatures, but rather to create anything, including rocks or water.

Or spirits? In other words, is there something more to groups of people, than the simple sum of the individuals? And are innocent individuals in that group responsible for what the body of people does? I suspect that nations, groups, corporations, etc are fictional identities, that are convenient to use in conversation, but have no spiritual identity at all.

I know what the Bible says, what do you think about, 'espirit de corp'?

Yeah so like i'm a prophet, and i was just wondering if any of you other prophets out there have chatted with God lately. You know how he is. I guess i'll just say he works in mysterious ways for another few years till i ask around again. Pretty soon though, people are going to want answers. Is there anybody else who feels an absolute joy and sense wonder and fulfillment when learning about the true scientific reasons for the how the universe and everything that is in it came to be ?

Do you feel an immense sense of wonder and amazement when you contemplate the sky at night and marvel at all we have learnt about our orgins and existance and all that there is still to know ?

Finally do you think that this joy and wonder is far superior to simply accepting ancient dogmatic myths as a way of explaining the world around us

Or what about a news article I read where a guy said the secret to a happy marraige is not to go to bed angry. Did you

Today... when we were at the supermarket... two ladies were talking to eachother... each had a cart full of food... 4-5 boxes of ice cream... etc. etc. etc....

One asked the other... do you finish all this in one week?
And she answered... no... half of it goes into the trash bcz they go bad... I don't know why they go bad! What about you?
And the other one answers... the same here...

Now I have a question... when you know that the food you're buying... is way too much to finish in a week... n is going to go bad... then why on earth are you buying so much of it?
How can you buy food and then throw it out? Don't you have any heart? There are ppl in the world dying bcz of hunger... and you're wasting your food?
To me... that's the ultimate of ungratefulness!

As it says in the bible you reap what you sew?
I gave away a microwave one time to someone who had greater need of it than I........I prayed and reminded God of his promise, in the next two years had 3 microwaves given to me!
that's just one example. I also ask God when I am under attack if I have "sewed" any bad seed such as being indifferent or unkind to people. Do you ever do that?

I said I remember "one nation under God" anyone else. I was trying to get across the point of our lawmakers and non political peers taking God out of everything I know and have grown up with. Nothing about money! or technology ! or quoting scripture I would just like to know what they are trying to accomplish by taking the word god from all we know that bears his name. Are they trying to make a statement are they trying to all god fearing folk into non believers? What is there reasoning behind this?
