I had a bad dream and it put me in a really bad mood from the moment I woke up. Then other things kept happening to make me mad, little things that have made my morning harder.
Usually I am a positive person and little things don't really get me down. But today is different, and since it's not my norm, I don't know how to deal.
I have a long shift at work ahead of me, and I don't want to blow up at anyone. I have like an hour to get this thing in check.
What are your tips?

Please make note of spiritual things you do especially.

And it's not that I don't appreciate everyone's advice, but if you ask me to "put it in the Lord's hands" I will vomit.

Hi R&S, my name is Skalite and I'm an addict. (*Hi Skalite*)

Been comming here since April, and made it to level 6 before having my account deleted. Comically after saying "I can't believe I've lasted this long without being deleted."

Is this proof that it is foolish to tempt the fates/gods/God? Or is Irony the most powerful force in the universe?

I've decided to have a heart to heart talk with her this weekend. I appreciate your previous concern for my situation, and my need to explain her choices in this world and beyond.

For those who may not know, a quick synopsis. My girlfriend and I have dated for over a year. She is almost perfect, except for the fact that she is an atheist. Now, don't get me wrong. You wouldn't know she is an atheist just by talking to her. No, mainly it's in her thoughts, and her willingness to engage in pre marital sex with me.

Before we take the next step in our relationship and unite as one in the eyes of the Lord, I need to let her know the clear boundaries. There is an afterlife, and neither her nor her atheist family are going with me to heaven if they don't embrace the gospel. Her father is already angry with me for sharing the knowledge that he will be burning in hell forever.

Anyway, I'm taking her out for dinner this Saturday night after going to a movie. I'm a little nervous about having to tell her she is going to burn forever in the fire pits of hell, but it's very clearly stated in the bible, and if she hasn't read that yet it's really is on her.

Any advice on broaching the topic? What type of food should we have?

Also, she is about 7-8 pounds overweight.

They also claim intelligent design of ourselves. Why?

If God did create Heaven and Earth He obviously screwed up in major ways all over the place. There has been nothing but violence and killing since the beginning. God, if you are to believe the Bible, is quite the abused of humanity. He's not very nice at all. I guess one thing people of Faith can claim to some extent - we were created in God's image. We are a very violent and vengefully bunch of animals.

I been around Pagans a bit and they are oh so much better at this than any Christians I’ve met. I mean, I grew up in the Baptist church and those Baptists are just nasty to one another. Throw in the every popular bashing of Catholics around here and it kinda makes you wonder.

considering the core belief of islam .that we either ( non-muslim) convert or be destroyed. how can there ever be peace between muslims and any other religous group wether it be the jewish orthadox the baptist ,catholic or any other group that is not willing to convert to the religion of islam? how can there ever be peace and coexistence with a religion whose goal is to conquer and convert the whole world to islam and destroy those that are unwilling to convert?

The furthest object visible by telescope is the galaxy ABELL 1835:[PSR2004] 1916 with a redshift of z=10.001750. That would mean the light left this galaxy billions of years ago, unless the speed of light has been grossly underestimated. What is the biblical explanation for this phenomenom?
