To go with 1 and repent later is like a slap to God, yes he is forgiving but certianly not stupid. Scheming isn't a good idea!
I'd go for 2, it's not worth the extra hours/days/years if it means to destroy part of my relationship to God.
It wouldn't be fair to ask non-believers as they have no idea what its like to feel so strongly about something. It's sad, i know, but if you share your beliefs then you'll give them the chance to experience what Gd offered Adam and Eve-everlasting life.
God-fearing people know that man as nothing over us, but the world would make people see differently so again until they are given the chance to see wht the Bible REALLY says then they can't be blamed.

Yes the answers to this question is most astounding! Why would you choose disobeying God------that is what got us here in the first place----rather obeying Jehovah and having the hope for the resurrection and live in the Paradise when the time comes?
I would most definitely choose number 2 because I know that I'll be resurrected, when the new system comes, if it ever came to having my life on the line. Jehovah is far more superiour than any man or gov't. Look what happened to Daniel when he was thrown into the lion pit, Jehovah and his angels saved him from the mouth of lion. I also agree with the Sisters answers the best especially Joslin's answer.

Wow!
The answers to this is amazing!
100% number 2!!! I hope that when this time comes my faith will help me to stay strong in my resolve! :) Why would someone NOT want to remain loyal to God when the ONLY reason they exist is because of him. Through an accurate understanding of the Bible, yall would find out that by remaining loyal even to death you have the hope of being ressurrected by God into a Paradise. He is gives us this wonderful reward if we remain loyal and faithful. So yes, Obey God as ruler rather than man!

I would have to decide whether it would be a greater good to witness to truth and against injustice, or to attempt to survive and work more effectively later, then act accordingly.
The "laws" of "God" have only the authority of their human promoters behind them, so I would be guided by the more universal principles of saving human life, respecting individuals, and providing adequate living conditions, reasonable common freedom for self-determination and equitable access to legal recourse. In other words, promote mutual benefit, avoid harm and equalize rights and privileges.
I would seek any way possible to accomplish these things short of death, because death ends my efforts. But I can't put my survival above another's. If all other options were eliminated, submission to death is the only ethical choice.

If the commandment being broken involves taking the life of another person, then I would choose death. Really it all depends on the situation. I'm willing to die for what I believe is right. I'm not willing to kill others. It may be necessary for me to sacrifice my life for the truth and for the good of others. Many great peaceful men in history were willing to do so.

How can atheists answer this question? This would not be a choice for them. You first have to acknowledge the existence of God to even begin to consider his commandments.
For myself, I made my choice in this matter when I dedicated my life to Jehovah God. My life now belongs to Jehovah so I must yield to his will for me. That is not to say that I am incapable of making a mistake in a moment of weakness.(Note 1Corinthians 10:12) However, it is my determination to remain faithful. That is why we all must contiue to fortify ourselves spiritually through study, prayer, and association with our brothers and sisters before we are faced with such decisions.
