Really doesn't ,matter.... anyone willing to ordain you over the internet could not have God's authority do do so any way. Thus doesn't matter if it's over the internet or in person. Both are a waist of time for you.

If you want to truly be a ordained minister visit with some LDS missionaries, (yes Mormons) as they are the ones who can Ordain ministers with God's authority.

Happen to be a devout agnostic.
Also ordained online as an associate "pastor" of a legally
registered non denominational " church".
I am registered in my state as such & with the proper paperwork can perform legally binding marriages.
A relative of mine who is also a "minister" just officiated a wedding & the couple have the documents to prove it.
Would never presume to preach or give spiritual guidance to anyone.
Not sure what I "believe" so I think it would be morally wrong to do any preaching.
Any dot.com minister who takes him/herself seriously as a religious leader as some do.,are not qualified & in my opinion are "fake" .
Could see how your church might object & consider you a fake if you openly preach without genuine theological training & credentials.
I personally ,do not have that problem, but do plan on performing a wedding only as the officiant of record..
Beyond that , It aint anyones business.
Best regards

Some states won't accept online ordination, others will. However, the responsibilities of clergy go far beyond the pulpit and that should be taken into consideration. Many clergy act as marriage counsellors and offer other types of counselling services and have no training for it which I think is wrong. In many states it is illegal to act as a "shrink" without having proper training but yet they allow clergy to get away with it for some reason.

The outside (secular) world believes that it and only it can control and ordain what is real or fake.

God views things a bit differently. God ordains those whom he chooses to teach and preach his word.
You can attend the greatest cooking school in the world and learn many good things, but without the ability to make toast without burning it, in the end you have nothing. Same for bible schools and degrees. without God "ordaining" you, you are but wind through trees.

Ordination. Yes, it really IS a word (as opposed to "ordaination").

Yes, it's "fake". Well, at least it's worth the paper it's printed on.

Only God can ordain anyway (and it is His good pleasure to ordain us to ministry). An internet site, all the way up to a "christian university" or "Bible college" can't give you anything. It is God who ordains, and He may use those things, but He doesn't have to.

Ordination comes from the Lord.........

This usually comes by an elder of sorts laying his hands on the person and blessing them. You see this throughout the Scriptures

I honestly don't see the difference. One minister is as good as another.

Who cares what they think, your ordination is legal by law.
