Easy. Especially if you are too lazy and afraid saying there is a God would mean they might have to do something about it. Or, it could be they think so much of themselves, God would get in the way of how great they were.
Actually, the Bible says there are many gods and lords. (1Corin. 8:5) Whatever you make your prime interest becomes your god or lord. That verse goes on to point out there is only one true God and one true Lord that have power on their own.
For some, their cars are their god, or TV. It is not restricted to spiritual creatures.

It' s so sad to see how many people do not believe in God....A LOT of people are in for a very rude awakening!!! Christians should continue to spread the word of the Lord...Remember, it's our jobs as Christians :)

i know why: the people who say that are either too caught up in their life to realize there is a God out there worth praising or too broken inside to accept that there is a Heavenly Father that loves them or they are just ignorant. That's why we're Christians-so we can help those poor souls who don't know Him :-)

Why do find it so difficult to accept that people have an opinion that is different from yours? Go about your business, love your God but leave the rest of us alone.

you say 'there is one', but the people who say there isn't are the ones who don't believe in one. thus, it is rather easy to let those four little words trip off the end of thier tongue

Thats the thing, how do you know there is one? No one knows. I have seen no evidence of a god, so therefore I don't worry about believing in one. Don't be a religious sheep.

i mean all the daily miracles we see and recieve is claer proof that Gos is there. everything around us is also proof that God exists! there is a God

Of course there is you see him every morning come up over the horizon he is called Ra and is the giver of all life. Well excpet for those animals that live in deep cave systems and never see him that must be someone else
