Supposedly people in my church make a lot of jello (particularly of the green variety) but I have never actually had jello at any church function. I do make a mean Christmas ribbon jello though but that is for my family's consumption.
BTW, that verse doesn't say that all traditions are bad, it just says that traditions of man which get in the way of commandments of God are not to be followed.

I don't go to church but I believe in God and I have a few traditions but not alot.

tradation in my religion is from the time the prophet lived. tradition in islam does not change from the past. that is why we still say men can have 4 wives. b/c back in the prophets day men were dying in war. they left their wives behind with out any support. so another man would marry her to support her and her kids. and also a man cannot marry another women/lady without his wife or wives consent.
the tradition from jesus's time changes drastically. women no longer cover and men no longer have respect toward women, that is why there are so many rapes.
