Who do you think gets more violations, Christians or non Christians? I'd like to see some demographics on the subject.

YA is neutral. The guidelines are clear enough for anyone to understand when there is a violation.

The PROBLEM is that people violate you when you HAVE NOT violated anything.

For example, I have been "reported" and my answers eliminated for the following answers:

" *yawn* "

and

"Ummm....I have a hard time believing any of this."

So it's not YA; it's the people who abuse the reporting system. I'm not sure you could ever get any objective demographics on the subject.

Yahoo's violations are not handed out based on a bias from Yahoo, but based on who is geting reported and how often. If one of the two is getting more violations, it is because they are being reported more often.

For sake of answering this, lets say of X and Y, the Y's are being reported more:
Is that because there are more Y's q&a's so there are more to be reported?
Is it because there are more X's, so if 1% of them report Y's and 1% of Y's report X's, it would mean more Y's get reported?
Is it because more often the Y's question are asked in mocking, sarcistic and degrading way?

So even if you had numbers stating that X is reported more often then Y, it would still not be proof of a bias against group X by Yahoo.

YA itself is scrupulously unbiased.
Non Christians get more violations as they are the ones who publicly and in some cases blasphemously disparage our faith and our God.
Ask YA on the demographics.

Yes. I do. Since most of the questions asked are on Christianity only and the offenders too are from the same religion, your question is not relevant here.
A person from another religion is not competent enough to ask question on one religion (other than his), because if he asks, he would be doing so with half knowledge.
So, an offender is a real offender, if he denigrates another religion which is not his.
But, when a person denounces his own religion, it is not taken seriously. Seldom is he denounced for such of his acts.
I am not a christian, but I have seen many christians making derogatory comments against their own religion. Rarely have I seen others doing that.

As a Christian, I see a good mix, worthy of being considered unbiased.

I notice many "anti-Christian" questions, but there are a lot of responders who calmly and articulately offer rebuttals. I also notice that in general religion questions, many of the responders offer their views as agnostic or atheist believers. I think the representation is quite equal.

I am Muslim. My violations come from mostly Muslim men who think that a Muslim woman should have no place on a forum like this. I know because they tell me everyday.
Many Christians just ignore me or give me the finger but few report me.

Y!A is fair. Everyone gets a violation notice if they are reported. Y!A plays no favorites.

Here's what I think:

If someone reports an exorbitant number of people, then HIS account should be deleted... AND everyone that lost his account because of that individual should get their account restored.

Many of my fellow atheists may feel it's biased against us. I honestly feel it's biggest fault lies in failing to verify if a Report is really a Violation.

This is a sociological thing. How can a faceless internet site be anything besides what it is?
