another girl,ok,this is a funny one lmao i said Happy Eid since its eid duh, she said wtf is eid ? Can you believe that ? its like a christian sayin wtf is xmas?, i was like, what comes after ramadan LOL she said well im not that kinda muslim :| WTF!!

another girl, i said sallam she said im not religous , lmao

that goes for young muslims. old ones arent better either
they do love it too much. some of them even change rules to avoide a heat argument to please someone
like this, in Islam states that gays should be killed . american muslims dont apply that because whatever reason
they;r changin verses now
like christians did to the bible

I have a theory...religion was created so that as civilization grew that when laws/rules where made that people wherent like hmm well if i kill someone i get introuble but who cares...SO BOOM people where like RELIGION. Youll go to hell if you kill someone so people are like oh no i shouldnt do it then.

I could go on but im just expressing a major point.

The Watchtower claims that one cannot understad the Bible without the Watchtower literature.

What kind of God would give His people a Bible with no means to understand it?

I'm a Christian but don't believe it's a "religion" but a way of life based on faith and the teachings of Christ.

"Good" being: "kind", "charitable", "helpful", "thoughtful", etc.

Do you "do good" because others will appreciate it or because "good" simply ought to be done?

Or are there other reasons?

A free guift to all people everywhere. It's something that cannot be earned and is not given to us on the basis of a reward or payment for goods deeds. My question here is why, in your opinion, do so many people appear to be unsaved when Ephesian 2:8-9 clearly spell out the basis on which Gods free gift is given. Today we have so many people trying to impress God with their works and earn a place in heaven. I would like to hear from people with genuine answers please.

To present a book with such a claim, before proving that claim, it should pass some pre-qualification. I myself do not know the reality, that's the reason I am asking to those christians who believe that gospel is inerrant words of God. Given below are some questions, I want asnwers to be with refernce to gospel (not paul's letters) you can either answer these questions or prove that questions are irrelevent in this context. choice is yours. Kindly don't take this as an offense, these are serious questions.

1. Does bible or Gospel claim that it is a book revealed by God.
2. Does God anywhere in Gospel or for that matter in bible mention that, I am (The God) inspiring my words to the author of respective book.
3. Does authors of the Gospel (Mathew, mark, luke and John) Claim that, what they are writing is inspiration of God?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, all:

Was my answer to this question too harsh?

I do have problems with the idea of someone (a) asking for help with a creative endeavor intended to make money without offering recompense for that help (which I think can be reasonably inferred here), and (b) asking for help from Wiccans with creating an entertainment concept that would almost certainly misrepresent the Wiccan faith. What do you think? Is there even an issue here?

In the ever famous story of Job, what is the difference between what God allowed Satan to test Job at that time and how he allows Satan to test us now. If I remember correctly God claimed he would never allow us to be tested again. Isn't our entire life supposed to be a test of free will? Please explain. ;-)

what if he doesnt give a d@mn how you worship him?(hence different religions) and just hopes you worship him one way or another? I mean I think when we die he could tell us that yes it was this way or that way instead of just sending us to hell for worshipping him the wrong way.

not allow the federal government to mandate a state sanctioned religion? Akin to the one the founding fathers left back in England? In fact, correct me if Im wrong, wasnt it originally just a federal law and not a state issue at all?

This is the First Amendment:

First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I have recently begun studying this. Im not proposing to know all the facts, nor am I making a hard and fast decision. I would like to know what others think of this; preferrably ones who are well versed or more versed than myself on this subject.

SIDENOTE: I am putting this in our section because we are the only ones that are really active at this time and I would like some discussion on it.

I always feel guilty when my faith is weak, then I remember that one of the world's all-time most famous Christians said this:

"For me the silence and emptiness is so great, that I look and do not see,-listen and do not hear-the tongue moves but does not speak."
"Such deep longing for God-and...repulsed, empty-no faith no love-no zeal-(the saving of) Souls holds no attraction, Heaven means nothing."
"What do I labor for? If there is no God, there can be no soul-if there is no soul-Jesus-You also are not true."

anybody know who wrote these words?
