All of creation testifies to the exsistence of a creator. Look at wonderful everything is made and yet it all fits so well together. Do you know that the human eyes are more astonishing than any camera? Look at the clouds at how they hang in the air, yet, what is it that kiips them there? We know that there is water/moisture in them. This leaves us to know that they have weight and everything with weight cannot stay up in the air for to long. Yet, by what power are they capable of staying up there? If you want to doubt the Word of God, you will have every occasion to do so. That's why it takes the ultimate act of letting go of past human customs or beliefs that, if I can't see it, hear it, or toch it, it doesn't exist. This is why God says, that the just shall live by faith. Faith is believing what you can't see, hear, or touch.

Is there proof that there isn't?
Take an apple, it grows on a tree, falls to ground, dies or rots. The seeds dont, they come back, not just as an apple, but a tree that bears apples.
as far as balogne from the bible, there isn't any, mostly fish.

What's the proof that there isn't? The truth is that there is no sure proof. Their is anecdotal evidence, but since science can never prove anything, it can suggest produce evidence against some things, you cannot validate 100% any of the evidence for it. That is where faith comes in. I would say many near experiences and other such occurrences that lend support to a belief in an afterlife. As of yet, no one has come back from the and said that they are 100% sure that there was nothing there.
Basically we don't know. You just have to have faith either way you decide to lean.

I'm agnostic but I have a "bit" of proof that we may not just die and rot.
My mom was dying of emphysema. She lay in a coma for 2 weeks and I was with her every day. One night, I asked a nurse if she could hear me when I talk to her. The nurse said, strangely enough, it seems comatose people really do hear, on some sub-subconscious level.
I asked the nurse why my mom was hanging on so long when they said she only had days to live. I wondered if there was something else we could do to help her live.
The nurse said sometimes the dying, (especially older parents) hang on indefinitely, even though they're unconscious, because they are afraid to "pass on" and leave the family without them to take care of them.
I went back to my mom's side. I crawled up onto the bed with her. She was so little. It was 4 am. I whispered that I wanted her to know that we (my sisters and my little girl) could manage without her if she wanted to go. I said, jokingly, that if she looked around and could see a white light, like they talk about on TV, she might want to go over to it and listen and she might hear Dad saying to get the hell up here and quit fooling around because he missed having her around. Less than 15 seconds later, my mom had a massive seizure and died instantly in my arms.
It could have been a coincidence ... but it wasn't to me.

Some people have been fortunate enough to have been given proof. If you are tied down to this maternal world then you may never be given proof because you are not open to it.
