Mother Teresa. Isn't our faith supposed to be tested? Maybe it's part of our trials & tribulations. I'm certainly no expert, but I believe we all go through things like this. Please keep this in mind: The enemy comes to steal, kill & destroy. He does not want you to believe in God. That's why when you decide to believe, he will fight much harder to keep you from it because he doesn't want to lose you. Just keep telling yourself "everything will be alright" & stay strong in the Lord. You are not alone in this fight. God bless and keep you friend.

Mother Teresa.
And on that note, I was once a Christian who had doubts all the time, and who felt guilty for such weak faith. I have since left my faith and found life and peace in another system of beliefs. I do not regret it.
We each must make our own path through this world. Mine was to leave Christianity behind. Yours may well be to stay. Good luck with it, however your walk turns out.

At present, no. But I have had times of doubt in my life, usually followed by a time of amazing spiritual growth.
I believe these are the words of Mother Theresa. My personal theory about her doubt is that it stemmed from an extremely DEEP faith, but also such a longing to be with her Lord, that she felt the distance between them very keenly.

Don't know who wrote that.
Do I have doubts and sometimes feel weak? Yes, certainly. We ALL are prey to the many temptations of the false gods.
When in doubt and when I feel weak, I submit myself in prayer. I put my faith and trust in the love and mercy of the one true God, and take comfort in the assurance of my soul's salvation thru His Son, Jesus.
What more could I possibly ask?

Stop concentrating on things that some people said, "look to the hills from which cometh thine help, thy help cometh from the Lord."
The devil is playing tricks with your mind and the reason why he is able to do that, is because you don't have enough Word in you. Your spirit needs food, just like your body needs food, and the spirit food is the Word of God.
Read Romans 8 :1 and see what God has to say to those lies.

Don't focus on all the doubts! they are the most powerful tools of Satan and he loves to fill the heads of Christians with them. Don't worry about your feelings as they come and go! Simply stand on God's unchanging Word and claim His promises. As you do this, all doubts gradually disappear and you see the Lord much more clearly. God Bless

Probably Mother Theresa
.
For whoever gives me a thumbs down, I believe I read in the news about letters she wrote along this line while she was experiencing depression. I may be wrong, but this sounds similar to those.

The greatest show of faith is, during your doubt, you still do for God........ You still stand on that little seed of faith...... Look at Job, no matter what came against him he still stood on faith....... Calling out * Why me Lord?* shows you still KNOW he is there and you still have the faith to call on him !!! right ????? go in peace........ God bless

I've always had doubts and will probably continue to have them until the day I die. I'm one of those people who likes proof and so far, haven't had it.

I used to be like that. You were brainwashed and are finding it difficult to accept this fact. Don't blame anyone in particular. Whoever brainwashed you was brainwashed as well. It's a vicious cycle and it takes some education to realize just how irrational it all is. Knowledge is power. Faith is a crutch.
