To present a book with such a claim, before proving that claim, it should pass some pre-qualification. I myself do not know the reality, that's the reason I am asking to those christians who believe that gospel is inerrant words of God. Given below are some questions, I want asnwers to be with refernce to gospel (not paul's letters) you can either answer these questions or prove that questions are irrelevent in this context. choice is yours. Kindly don't take this as an offense, these are serious questions.

1. Does bible or Gospel claim that it is a book revealed by God.
2. Does God anywhere in Gospel or for that matter in bible mention that, I am (The God) inspiring my words to the author of respective book.
3. Does authors of the Gospel (Mathew, mark, luke and John) Claim that, what they are writing is inspiration of God?
Thanks in advance.

The answer to your question is right here among all the answers that the people wrote. And it is a "NO" non of them had a clear writting littiraly saying what you asked for. There is no where saying I am God I am inspiring my words to the Author who ever his name was.

Gods words you mean a specific message inspired by God to Jesus. Am I right. For that to happen and for this message to be written in the Gospel you have to be there to witness those words and you write them down word by word, am I right? If not then the Gospel people are reading these days are what the "Author thought" the message would be or imaged it would be and not in fact the true message word by word. And this is exacly whats happening. 2 of those 4 authors were not even from the 12 deciples! SHOCKED? Well even Paul NEVER met Jesus in person (historical fact) So Paul wrote what he "thought was the message"and not the true message. This man could have made mistakes and wrote what he personaly thought and it might be wrong. And imagine the whole nation of Chritians depend on his Gospel very much. He could have influenced people with what he thought and not what Jesus said about the messages he had recieved from God. Thats why when you go and read the book called "The 100, the top hundred or greatest hundred in history" And he stated the 100 most influential men in history He says Mohammad pbuh was #1 and Jesus was #3 You know why? because of Paul. Who would very much interfered with the teachings that historicaly he could have shared Christianity with Jesus. This in its self is not good since it has to be Jesus's message not Paul's. People would be following Paul and not jesus in many things. By the way it is a fair book written by and American Historian.

One more amazing fact they say they have the originals from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. But NON of them were signatured or had any identification not even a thumbprint nothing as an autograph from the author! And they say we have about 500 originals and not even one is identical to the other. And yet without identification and yet with the contradictions and big differences they still believe in them and say according to Mathew, According to Mark..etc.

Anyway I need not to bore you with many details I hope that helps answer your question
--------------------------------------
They just choose to follow humans words knowing that they might be wrong "Because human Do make mistakes and some humans are evil at heart and greedy some times" But they still follow. Talking about poor evidence. Its really sad. You know if you take all of those versions and originals to any certified civilized court these days and treat them as they treat other documents that are used as evidence or for certification, those writtings will be thrown out in not more than 2 minutes. And anyone who knows those laws can confirm it.

Not every book in the Bible claims to be divinely inspired since the authors lived at different times under different circumstances. But they all wrote under the guidance of the Holy Spirit perhaps, at times, not knowing what exactly they were contributing to. Only when the whole book is taken into account does one get the complete message that the Bible is trying to convey.

This is indeed remarkable. The Gospels are narratives of the life of Jesus and the events that surrounded the life of Jesus. By their numerous references to the Old Testament passages they convey that what the prophets had predicted had come to pass and the Messiah that was to come had indeed come. This was the burden of their message. The words of Jesus constantly remind the reader that He was indeed God Who came down from heaven. Jesus Himself referred to the Old Testament many times indicating that all that was written by Moses and the prophets was written about Him (Luke 24:27).

So, while the claim of divine inspiration itself may not be there but evidence is intrinsic in the narrative.

1. Yes - 2Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

2. Yes - Gen 17:7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. This is where he says he is God.

ALSO Exodus 3:13-15 - Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?" 14 God said to Moses, "I am who I am . [b] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' " 15 God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, 'The LORD, [c] the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

As for part two of your question 2, saying I am God inspiring my words of a respective book, not each book but as stated previously 2 Tim 3:16 and also 2 Peter 1:21 For prophecy was at no time brought by man's will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit

3. Not necessarily - as stated above, the Word is God inspired...however, the Gospels are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John's account of Jesus' life.

Example - The beginning of the book of Luke - 1Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled[a] among us, 2just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.

A lot of info. I know but hopefully I've answered SOME of your questions.

John 18:37 - Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Luke 17:21 - Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Christians are trapped in these questions.
Poor Mathew, mark, luke, john; never knew that these people would take their books as words of good, otherwise they would have specifically mention that these are not words of God, actually this claim is only to counter muslim, as they cliam Quran to be words of God. None of the answers given above actually addresses the question posed

Well, when the prophets wrote, they wrote thus,"The Lord spoke to me and told me to write...," and "thus says the Lord." "The word of the Lord came to me," etc.
