Yes I believe in Evolution.
I know enough about it to know the things that it explains, and the things that are still holes waiting to be filled in (mammals, bats, octopus). But yes I believe that it will fill those eventually.

No, I don't like taking things on faith. However, after looking into the evidence for evolution I accepted it as factual. There may be things that aren't fully understood, but the Theory of Evolution explains speciation better than the alternatives.

No, I don't believe in evolution.

However, I do accept the theory of evolution, since it is based on scientific observation and evidence. There's no faith required.

(And obviously, theroadwetake was sleeping in biology class the day they discussed the evidence for evolution.)

No.

However, I *understand* and *accept* evolution - no belief needed.

* Evolution is very much a fact.
* Evolution is also a theory - just like atomic theory and gravity theory.
* Over 99.8% of scientists in relevant field accept evolution.
* There are no alternative scientific theories.
* There is a huge amount of evidence in support of evolution...
* And zero evidence against it.
* The 'discussion' is actually educated people trying to educate others.
* The more intelligent a person is, the more likely they are to understand and accept evolution.
* The "discussion" only happens in backward places like Turkey and parts of the united states.

Yes, I most definitely believe in evolution. It's far more convincing than some sky fairy suddenly creating us out of the blue.

I wish those who asked this question consistently would understand that the word means only "change"... everyone believes in change..
You mean Macro evolution or the changing of one species into another.
When you understand the question properly, you will be ready for the answer.

Evolution is not a belief system and therefore I can't believe in it...even though I really really want to.

Yes, like I believe in quantum physics and the law of gravity.
BTW- evolution is neither religion or spirituality. The place to ask this question is science- biology.
Let me know how that goes for you.

I don't "believe" in evolution, I ACCEPT evolution as a proven fact. Do you "believe" in gravity?

Yes, but I don't think evolution theory is a fact.
