Religious people, in general, hate homosexuals; that's a fact.
Now, if he/she existed, would he/she approve of your hatred?
Please think carefully before attempting answering this question. Do not compromise your Salvation.

I became a more committed believer when I was 16, and I'm now 20. Not only have I not got the hang of growing like a weed (or even consistent, small growth) I seem to just struggle. I know I'm a fool and I hate myself for it. I don't know how to change and I feel hopeless. How do people become wise and empowered to really walk the Christian walk. I think part of my problem is I'm immature but I really want to fix that.

Seems like most atheists that ever had a religious belief of any kind were at one time Christian especially but not exclusively Catholic. WHY?

I believe in a God who loves and guides me.
He hears and answers my prayers.
I believe that Jesus attoned for my sins.
I believe he was resurected and we will be too.
Jesus taught the gospel while on the earth.
He performed many miracles.
Miracles still happen today
We all need to be baptized.
None of us are perfect, we all have need of repentance.
We should love our neighbors
The Bible is the word of God
We need to treat others the way we would like to be treated.
We should try to live a Chrislike life by following Jesus' example.
High Moral Standards
Respect for others and their beliefs

I am sick and tired of atheists taking Bible verses out of context and using tragedies to suit their own purpose.

God gave us free will, which is why bad things happen. God never said life would be easy. Life is a test. It is supposed to help you grow.

One of the dumbest questions I have ever seen was, "If you were God, would you allow a child to be raped and murdered?".

Hello? The child feels no pain and they will be in Heaven for eternity and the rapist will get what is coming to them.

I know some things may be hard to understand, but we are nothing compared to God and it is not our place to ever question Him.

Everything that happens is done with our best interest in mind.

Agree?

Why do Christians always have something to say about Atheists and .. well Buddhists, Muslims, Hindu's, Pagan's .. the list continues. Why are they not content to believe what they believe and allow other people to believe what they want. Why send missionaries out to Buddhist countries and then seem surprised and horrified that they are not welcomed with open arms?

Can you please write to me what the New World Translation says in John 17:3?

I am so tired of seeing this on here. It is not true. The original Christians had no idea what the Catholic church was. If you went back to Peter and said "hello Pope Peter, how are you doing" He would have no idea who you are talking to. If you told him he was the head of the church he would say no Christ is. Catholics are not the original church nor the original Christians. I fail to see why catholics claim this to be true. Can someone please explain it to me?

Which one would try to convert the other first?
The Christian, of course.
But I think, and rightly so, that deep, deep down every Christian thinks like an Atheist; they are just afraid of the consequences, just in case God exists; a kind of life insurance.
I do not blame them, but I pity them.
