Yes, I did and thought it was one of the best I'd ever seen. I think he did an absolutely marvelous job on a very delicate topic and I saw no anti-semitism in the film whatsoever. People did comment on the bloodiness of the film, but what can one expect in such a re-telling? The weaponry alone was barbaric and cruel at best in those days. I believe that what I saw was what that man truly suffered...no more and no less. It was a very moving film.

For the first time, I understood what the Bible meant when they said Jesus was "scourged".

I wished it was in English, tho. I missed some of the actions without having the words there.

There was no reason to not have the film done in English. It would have enhanced it.

Beautiful...but artistic license was certainly used in much of the film. Still, the message was clear. Love in Christ, ~J~

God awful representation of the Jesus Christ and the Bible. All blood and gore and no clear explanation/story. I'm not sure that many people unfamiliar with Christianity would understand what was occurring. I get what Mel was trying to do in terms of film making, but he failed in his attempt.

It was a wonderful depiction of what Christ was really like and how he was crucified. I felt like I was right there beside him and as a Christian, I was so moved! It was beautifully made and accurate with the Bible. If you haven't seen it, please do.. it will move you like no other!

Yes I have and I feel really sorry for JESUS. But I want to thank him and give him praise for saving us from our sins. I think it was worth of it saving our lives. You should believe in him more often.

It was absolutely gruesome, heart-wrenching, gut-wrenching, trauma. It ended in victory. Casting a woman as satan was fascinating.
