Course I don't know how that would happen because I would be cremated... Oh well!

Mine has a serious tone to it. It's a quote from a letter Jean Harris wrote before she drove to her lover's house where she planned to commit suicide:

"I was a person, and no one ever knew."

IF they dont let me mummify on the slope of a mountain to be found intact with a dozen uneaten donuts and a copy of tv guide in 2000 years.
Then I suppose I want an old fashioned skull and crossbones tombstone. "Onlooker where You stand now I once was . Where I am now you will one day be. Live today like it will be your last. "

I would like my tombstone to be a bench.

Since I am a single woman - it is not likely that many would visit me... but since I always tried to help ease people's burdens in life... why not do it in death?

When they come to visit their loved ones, perhaps I could be a place to rest under a tree...

Inscribed:

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that weary and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Peace.

I'll be cremated, but if I had to answer hypothetically, besides my name, date of birth and death, the words "Do the Dew" would be engraved.

Just "Flight..." (from Jonathan Livingston Seagull; 'If flight be your heart's desire, then fly, fly, fly. For you must follow your dreams to be truly free.")
