Christian and religion are not the same or different.....that is...

Christianity is a religion. It is the religion of following Jesus Christ...however,

Denominations within Christianity is another story. These are many, depending on various views of how the Bible is interpreted. There are many denominations which claim to be Christian and truly are and some that are false.

But the real fact is this.....Not religion, not denomonation....but a RELATIONSHIP. No other religion can say they have a relationship with their god/God.

Only thru Jesus Christ do we have a relationship with the Creator of the Universe...

So to answer your question....you are asking WHICH DENOMONATION YOU COULD LABEL YOURSELF. You are a Christian if you believe Jesus has saved you from your sins and received this free gift of salvation. Depending on how you live out your Christian life, either conservative or liberal in the spirit of God....could determain the church which you attend.

Hope this helps.

You did not mention the Deity of Christ, which is one of the few things mainstream denominations agree on, so I assume this is not critical to your religious belief. Mormon or Jehovah Witness.

Edit: LDS is the answer. I was curious after I had answered the question, and looked up your profile. Are you surprised that someone actually educates themseleves on others statements of faith and doctrines? By my answer, can you tell my denomination, or lack of one?

You sound like me and I am non-denominational. Here are some basics to some of the main ones (to show differences in denominations):

Southern Baptist: once saved always saved, no predestination, and in general no charismatic spiritual gifts (speaking in tongues...)

Presbyterian: predestination (destined for heaven or hell before you were born)

Methodist: not once saved always saved- you can loose salvation by sin
