Can I come into your churches to teach evolution?

Why or why not?

Great question! Creationism/ID is nothing but religion disguised as science, it has NO place in public schools.

No, because Sunday school teaches children and adults about God. It is limited to only one subject. Sunday school does not teach mathematics, English, Science, or History either. Public school teaches a variety of subjects. I believe creationists want to have creationism taught as an alternative idea along with evolution.

Most ministers in my church already believe in evolution and we have a fair share of scientists around to do a better job. I will take a rain check.

The first replier is more ignorant then he thinks.

I agree with your logic. School is where you go to learn things that deal with reality, such as math and the dreaded BIOLOGY class the involved Evolution.

Church is where you flock with the other followers. You go in, listen, smile, nod. Nazi's were like that. They followed their leader, blindly, the same way, and invaded Poland. They then took over Europe before being pretty much killed. 60 million people died because no one asked "why." Those who did were killed.

I think we used to call those who died through religious questioning "Heretics"

The only reason they want it in public schools is because they are too broke to cough up the dough for private.
Public school should NOT teach creation. Teach your kids religion at home.

Good news everybody...let's all go spread the good word in their places of worship this next Sunday. I'll bring a rudimentary genetics text and read from chapters 1 to 3 for the opening sermon.

That is not even the same analogy. Evolution has been taught in school for how many years? We are not trying to come into your home and teach our beliefs. Just because we believe in a different way than you, does not make our beliefs any less correct. You are entitled to your beliefs and we are entitled to ours. Peace

Go ahead.

I think that it is just fair that if the evolution theory is taught at the school, then the creation theory should be allowed too,.
