Here is the synopsis if you haven't.

Claude Vorilhon first made contact with "Elohim" on a December morning in 1973 at the Puy de Lassolas crater near Clermond-Ferrand, France. He saw a metallic looking engine and was warmly received on Elohim's ship.

For the next five days, he met with the aliens for an hour at a time to listen to their message. Vorilhon has not been aboard the ship since, save for another encounter on October 7, 1975.

It was on the ship that he was told that humans were created in laboratories by people from another planet who had mastered the science of genetics and cell biology over 25,000 years ago.

The Raelian movement spreads the message that life on earth is not the result of random evolution or the work of God. Instead, Raelians believe that humans are a deliberate creation of a scientifically advanced people who used DNA to make human beings literally, "in their image".

These are also the people who own CLONAID.

without the christian assuming the atheist is ignorant of their faith. Or from pitying the atheist, and suggesting that they will be sorry in hell?

we Christians spend so much time and effort trying to save non-Christians from the lake of fire. Look at how many cultures we've helped by giving them the gift of God's word. Even when they resisted at first, we strengthened our resolve and led them to the Light and the Word. How is that negative?

Organized religion? Our ancestors? Who made us act the way we do? We seem to always fall short of what others think we should be. Nobody, not even one called Jesus from 2000 years ago that some call infallible, seems to be able to be seen in all eyes as perfect in regards to having improvability? Seems as if we did nothing, it would be better as we would not be judged for doing anything wrong? What teaches us that we should do less and be found not guilty that way and with less liability that way?

I am Atheist. I am curious as to how other Atheists became to believe such. Where you born into an Atheist family? Or did you convert from a religion?

If you converted from a religion:
1) How long did it take?
2) Were you agnostic during part of it?
3) Was there a certain pushing point?
4) How long have you been atheist?

I don't want to hear from smartass Xians on this topic. Thx.

Does his ministry show us that as Christians we would be beaten, stoned snake bit, and left for dead many times?
Or does it show that God will heal us protect us and raise us from the dead to serve His needs.

There are so many questions and answers on here that whether you believe in God or not are just mean spirited and degradatory. What is the purpose in this? Do you really think this convinces people to give up their faith and adopt your view?

And please don't answer any version at all of "Well they do it too so..." I think justifying your own bad behavior with other's bad behavior is reprehensible.

It seems there's a lot of disputes among the Christians, the Jewish, and the Moslems about who's God is better; or even worse, who's God is the true One.

LOVE your enemy, Jesus said. This words means to me, that we do NOT have any enemy anymore, for how can you make an enemy of someone you love?

There's not only one color in this world, but many. Yet they are just facets of One embracing all color; WHITE.
God was never meant for us to fight the differences, but to celebrate it; to learn from a beautiful rainbow.

I have an outside altar, and I burn a candle inside a glass lantern on it, but because I am out at work all day, when I come home it has burned out, I then light another, but before I get up in the morning it too has burned out.

This is a serious question. Why do christians NEVER question their faith? I know it says not to in their bible, but what if they are all wrong. I'm not stating that xians are wrong, i'm just saying WHAT-IF there is no god. Why would they prance around their entire lives worshiping an invisible man and not think twice about it.

Most xians are born into their faiths, and never once question religion. They just blindly accept it.

Now you say: "Isn't it better to error on the safe side and praise god if he may or may not exists?" Well, would you like to also error on the safe side and praise the "magical flying invisible teddy bear"? The MFITB will give you eternal life if you worship him. Should you spend your life blindly devoted to the teddy bear, or should you pause and question it?

Please, dont give me any flak for this question. I would like some intelligent answers from Christians as to why they don't think twice about God. Atheists, please dont answer this one!

You argue that if the Universe were only 6,000 years old, we wouldn't be able to see light from stars that are more than 6,000 light years away, yet we can. But don't you realize an all-powerful God can create the star and create its light so that it reaches the Earth already? After all, Genesis tells us that He created light before He created a source for the light, isn't that a sign of His great power? It also tells us that He put those stars in the firmament of the Heavens to give us light in the darkness. It would have been stupid for Him to put them so far away they didn't work, so of course He made their light reach Earth.

How do you answer to that?
