And why do children die from cancer? I thought Christians say all children are innocent in God's eyes?

Weird how geckos tails grow back though, huh? Once at a Baptist revival service I heard a preacher say lizards, along with snakes and bats, were demons of Satan. Yet God gives them back missing limbs!

The bible gives us many accounts of Jesus healing, and resurrecting, but what did he saw about this?

John 5:28,29: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs Will hear his voice (the voice of Jesus) and come out."

The healing and the raising of the dead was done on a small scale to show what God's kingdom will do for humankind. (Dan 2:44).

Although miraculous healing was done in Bible times, thru the power of God., It is no longer being done today.

WHAT HOPE DO WE HAVE FOR REAL HEALING FROM ALL SICKNESS?

Rev. 21:1-4: "I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away...'And he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning not outcry nor pain be anymore. the former things have passed away.'"

Isa. 25:8 "He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces."

Isa. 33:24: "No resident will say : 'I am sick.'"

Maybe the person has been healed in some other way. Maybe the amputation was a healing of another disease.

God does not answer every prayer with a yes, and not every amputee prays for their limb back. Many pray for a return to a normal life, the ability to do things they use to do. Many pray for peace to be able to deal with the loss of their limb. My grandma just wanted to return to health... without the amputation, the infections in her leg would have invaded the rest of her body and she wouldn't have lived another 30 years.

Perhaps that is why we have wonderful docs and technicians who can do marvelous things with prosthetics these days. Did you ever stop to think that maybe they were God's way of answering a prayer? Or healing an amputee?

God's way is not necessarily man's way, which is often very hard to deal with and accept. But when we do accept it, things usually turn out for the better!

A number of things happen for a reason that we do not understand because it is beyond our realm of understanding. God has a plan for us all. Right now, we are in a time when Satan has almost a free reign on earth. As stated in the bible, God will intervene by sending Jesus back to earth and ending the rule of the Anti-Christ. Just like in the movie Bruce Almighty, if God did everything that people wanted him to do, the world would be a mess. God knows better than humans how the world should be balanced.

Good question. OR should the question be why would he let it happen in the first place? Here's my thought. The first thing that God created is time and then space. I think because he created these, he is not limited by them. So, he could stop a leg from being amputated before it ever happened. But back to your question. I don't know. Maybe he just doesn't want to. Maybe he wants people to learn to be better people in spite of difficulties they endure. Or he even uses the difficulties themselves to make us better. Keep searching for answers and be open to the answers God chooses to give you. Good luck and God bless.

How do you know He hasn't? What do you know that the rest of everyone else doesn't know?

Why are Atheists so stupid? Can God heal an Atheist from stupidity? How come we don't have any record of that? It might be more difficult than amputees. Atheistic stupidity is just ghastly, and there might not be any sort of recovery for them. I hope God can heal a stupid Atheist because if He can't well, there is just no point, is there?

If God can heal a stupid Atheist then He can do ANYTHING. Healing amputees is NOTHING compared to healing stupid Atheists.

I'm not sure if there have been any records of this; I'll have to check the lives of the saints. I know that at Lourdes there was a man with a shriveled up arm which straightened itself immediately after being touched by the water, but that's the closest I can think of.

I've seen several answers that claim miracles that are "Medicaly Certified". Interesting that they don't give us any documentation other than a website (like no one has ever lied on one of those!) on these so-called miracles so that we can check them out for ourselves.

Personally, I'm waiting to see someone get raised from the dead.

It is a poetic irony that intuitively, you know the answer.

The inner self of each individual chooses experiences and events to aid in development along specific lines, according to the desire of each. We all have access to all-knowledge.

The one who has lost a limb lives another life in which they did not lose it. They live a certain experience based upon what their deeper self wanted to learn/experience.

We each do this; we understand it in deeper terms, and we accept it; it is part of our vitality, our freedom even to mis-create, all the while held in perfect love, in eternal validity.

if only people were like starfish. then their amputated limbs would grow into new people AND their limb would grow back. 2 for the price of 1!
