Diane, those who ARE able to hav e Future life memories are called Ascendent Masters. There are VERY few of those around. Examples of those would be people like Bran, Maerlin, Jesus, Buddha, and Confucius. Because of their advance state of "knowing" they are no longer considered to be a part of the material plane, and have entered the next level of existence. There seems to be a certain barrier beyond which we are NOT supposed to know or be able to examine without becoming Ascendent. Some have however been able to leave a limited view of the future for us to examine. Nostradamus and Bran are notable examples of such Ascendents who were able to leave writings that gave us clues as to what was to come.

My visions of the future in this life have saved me a lot of pain and saved one life other than mine--I'm not sure i want to see the future world that goes on after I die though, this world is rapidly turning into humanity's toilet
