Yes. Every evening when I cast my evening circle and call the Quarters, I think about my son, my husband, and my students. Have I served them well? Are they learning and growing? Am I?
I look out to the sunset, and know that I will not see that sunset again, so I thank the Great Spirit for the time I have now, the life I live, the love I share.
When I look out there and know my life is finite, and I ache to know that I will not know all, see all, touch and love all, I remember that I am happy to be in the place I am, and to remember the commonality which binds us as human beings, the common experience of life, and of death.
I feel the wheel of my life turning, and I smile for the time now.
Blessings,

Diane, that is always a good idea to do. I do that, myself. It gives me insight as to what I could have done to improve on myself that day and allows my to work on those things that left me feeling as though I messed up and how to go about not repeating those mistakes in the future. It ALSO helps me to go over thngs and figure out what I missed so that I can plan for the coming day so that I don't forget to finish up the unfinished wrok of the previous day. It also lets me remember the pleasant things that happenned that day and gives me something pleasureable to begin my night's dreams with.
Daniel, What IS this fixation with spelling and Grammar? Or do you have a juvenile fixation with Diane? Either way, that is NOT the way to go about either getting her to be more careful with her typing OR, to get HER to look on you in a favorable light. Re-think your strategy and come up with a different and, Hopefully, Better way to accomplish your goal.

I don't normally contemplate on what I did but more on what could I do the next day or what more can I give or share.

Actually, I reflect upon it. I save the contemplating for the next day...

At the end of the day, I say my evening prayers where I thank God for his grace (favor) in giving me another day.
In the morning, I again thank God for his grace and for the day he has given me.
Answer: No. At the end of the day there is nothing I can do to change it. I contemplate on the next day.

Contemplation is a way to intimate talk to God for a deeper relationship.
Why are you interested of that relationship? Do you need help?

Yes, I do that sometimes. I don't really want to do it today, though. Something happened today that I'd rather not reflect upon. I'd like to just forget it, if possible.

Thank you Daniel.
Sure, I do. Who doesn't? I think that if you don't set aside any time to reflect on things, then you'll never learn from them.
