Organized religion? Our ancestors? Who made us act the way we do? We seem to always fall short of what others think we should be. Nobody, not even one called Jesus from 2000 years ago that some call infallible, seems to be able to be seen in all eyes as perfect in regards to having improvability? Seems as if we did nothing, it would be better as we would not be judged for doing anything wrong? What teaches us that we should do less and be found not guilty that way and with less liability that way?

Lovely,
Take into account John 14 12

And take into account the following definition of perfect from the dictionary

perfect

1. conforming absolutely to the description or definition of an ideal type: a perfect sphere; a perfect gentleman.
2. excellent or complete beyond practical or theoretical improvement:
Certainly, if Jesus was perfect, so are you perfect in your own right, and so is everyone else. Jesus said we could do greater works, not because we worshipped him as being infallible back then, but because we can see him in heaven, changed, improved with all other souls there too, including ourselves, with the Father of Heaven, Forgive Affirmed Spirit.

downsouthrr,
How has that helped mankind stop fighting and killing each other over their righteousness claims to eternal afterlife worthiness one more than another for culture's sake?

How did Jesus make "on earth as it is in heaven"? as he prayed for? Don't we have some more work to do to get there? Is it possible that this work includes discerning the Bible and our circumstances now for functional living?

Doesn't it scare you that all these weapons of mass destruction are in the hands of people who were raised to think some are more righteous than others because they aspire to "higher goals of promoting their own self righteous purposes and worthiness of eternal heaven" above others who don't profess exactly they way they do?

I awaken you in the name of Forgive Affirmed Spirit. Come follow me. Lets take this to a new level of understanding for mankind's sake, for our children and their children and their children's children's sake, shall we? Are we worth it or not?

Dominique,

If we put the blame on God, then the blame goes away from us. Then we can concentrate on correcting that part of God in us that is uncivilized without placing the blame on the individual. All of us come from circumstance that is beyond our conscious control to change, from time before this time, moments before these moments, parented, guided, sometimes misled. That is all about our experience in this illusion of free choice. We are all doing our best. We can correct and improve if we but stop pointing the finger at some concept that each person had a completely free choice to make any decision. In fact, we are programmed human computers, if you want to be blunt about it. We learn from circumstance and our circumstances are not always so civil that we came from.

We can model after what society can culminate as acceptable function and try to get everyone on the same page while constantly redefining it as situations unfold. That is our challenge.

Who is this "him" guy? The one that supposedly solved all the world's problems? I think "he" said we could do better than he did in John 14 12! I would concentrate on worshipping that potential rather than "him", whose worship as infallible in his day has gotten this world in much hurt and danger of extinction! Unless of course, you think "his" mission was to help destroy the earth and it's inhabitants! In which case I am glad you point out your suicidal tendencies and reasons for them, ....your god that fixed everything, right?

Mesquiteskeetr,
You feel you created everything by yourself?

If God is everywhere, even in your particulate matter from the firmament or dust of the universe combined, how can you figure that your life was not already known before you were born? You must realize that you do not have "all the choices in the world" to make in your logical lifetime, right? So if it is not within your grasp to have all choices, how can you even think that you have this "free choice" in reality? You are limited, my friend, just like we all are.

But you are a part of something much greater, part of the dust of the Creation and Creator, and as such, part of the Grand Illusion and Passion that I hear you expressing, of Free Choice. Just be on alert from now on though, that the reality is that all of the dust including yours and mine and everyone's, knows and has always known, every jot and tittle of move you would make in your lifetime and mine! Else there is no God!

Again, lovely,

If Jesus was perfect, why did he say we could improve on his ways in John 14 12?

All these people go around saying Jesus was perfect. If he was perfect, why did he have to commit suicide or sacrifice? Doesn't make logical sense. Would you have done that to prove you were perfect and worthy of some worship? No wonder some people commit suicide though worshipping that stuff!

D A S, The "right choice", as it were, left IT'S carcass on a cross 2000 years ago supposedly. Perhaps that kind of right, ain't wholly right at all? Ya think?

God is both evil and good. We were created in God's image. We were parts of God as our particulate matter has always been, although not necessarily in the mortal human form.

As our mortal existence is in the image of a dichotomy, one that allows our existence to be projected to one another, we are part good, part evil, and hence the impression that we are half ing to live our lives, to exist, as any part of God.

Have you received the Holy Spirit?

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...........For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."

Regardless of who you are or what you do, there will be people that will fight against you when someone else begins to praise you. It has never failed that the better you are, the more criticism there is against you. The better you are, the higher standard people use to judge you.

BUT, other than some failing because of poor health or accident, we make our own lives and our own future. We are what we think. It is possible to control your thoughts. In fact, you DO control your thoughts. No one else makes you be anything unless they tie or chain you and make you move as they say. Still you control your own mind, your own actions and destiny.

we do.
we act and do what we want.
what does it matter, how others think we should be.
to be holy, only means to seperate from what is wrong.
and thats not hard to do. it literally feels good.
as far as Jesus, he is where he wants to be.
we need to think about, where we want to be.
our life is full of decisions, we make them everyday.
and no-matter how small or how big, everything has consequences.
Jesus is perfect.
we just don't see it or choose not to see him perfect.
he has no problems what-so-ever, he only has answers.
give all your burdens to him,
he will surley watch over you.

to blame ,,,,is weak and that is not who we are,we see things within our minds as a gift.

we are as holy as we recognize ourself to be.
we speak of positivity and live in the flesh as workers, our body is not as holy as our words.

our body follows our words. the holy er our words and the more we offer we take back who we are.

Because it's not about how much or little or good or bad that WE do, Jesus already paid the price for us. It's like Jesus already paid for your All-Season Pass and he's giving it to you for FREE!!! All you have to do is take it and it's yours. Oh, and say thanks, it's polite.

It is not what we did wrong but where is our faith and obedience. We think we can do everything on our own and never look up to him.
