I'm not trying to be a pessimist, but talking from life experience here, this world is just TOO evil. IT really is, everything from discrimination, to hate, to competition, to people and their own human values which are pride, money, image, status, everything.

Simply living in this world will expose you to so much bs, and it's very hard to rise above, when the masses are either brainwashed, dumb, selfish, or living for themselves, and some which are out to get you.

Even tiny evils, such as residents in NYC trying to get you for every little thing such as parking violations, on purpose. IF people keep focusing on the small things, and are vengeful like that, they can easily get some "sucker" religious person who's not in tune to whats going on around him.

That's just a very small example. Evil intended people are everywhere, and some of them are very powerful.

This world feels like a stressed, nasty place, where anyone is vulnerable to danger.

What do we do?

Besides the books of faith, are there any other texts of historical relevance that explicitly mention Jesus Christ and his miracles? Are there any texts by reliable authors/historians that can help us unwind this Jesus thing?

Abraham had another son, by Sarah's slave Hager. So why does Genesis 22:16 say "says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son..."?

To truely understand his writings, shouldn't believers learn the original language it was written in so as to understand it's teachings without any fear of error or contridiction. To me at least this seems only natural, and a repectful thing to do.

It seems arrogant to change his words just so that it is more convienient for people to read. Because as anyone that has played the whispers game knows, by changing even one simple word in a sentence you can, and in many cases it will change the whole meaning of the sentence.

Natural selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occurred if evolution were true?

Why don't many people accept Islam? Islam is a true religion and has been proven.. Let me give an example.. The Egyptian King "Firoun"'s dead body has been found from the nile river and Quran also says that Firoun and his men were dead as they fell in the Nile river.. Let me ask you, Anywhere in the Bible, does Isa (Jesus) says "I am God"? He only said that he is sent by God...

Do you understand why I'm mad? Is this what they teach kids in church? Is their conversation criminal? (perhaps conspiracy to commit a hate crime) Should I report it to the school?

" The reason for this strictness is so that the woman is protected from the lustful gaze of men. She should not attract attention to herself in any way. It is permissible for a man to catch the eye of a woman, however it is haram (unlawful) for a man to look twice as this encourages lustful thoughts.

Islam protects the woman; it is for this reason that Allah gave these laws. In today's society womankind is being exploited, female sexuality is being openly used in advertising, mainly to attract the desires of men and therefore sell the product. Is the woman really free in today's society? The answer is obviously no. The constant bombardment by the media as to how the ideal woman should look and dress testifies to this.

Islam liberated woman over 1400 years ago. Is it better to dress according to man or God?"

Do YOU... Know WHY.... People.... Hate GOD... JESUS ?

IS... " IT "... Because.... 'THEY'... Are IN.... "The KINGDOM.... of Darkness".... and Do Not = Want The LIGHT!

(Acts 26:18) To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

(Acts 26:18) To open their eyes,

and to turn them from darkness

to light,

and from the power of Satan

unto God,

that they may receive

forgiveness of sins,

and inheritance

among them

which are sanctified

by faith

that is in Me [Jesus].

AND....

(John 3:19-20) And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.

(Joh 3:20) For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

Thanks, RR

What is it? You can be harsh to Christians and we can't be harsh back??
I will admit i am backslid, but even if you came up to me when i was in church and doing all the right things and said half of the disrespectful crap you say to people on here, i wouldn't tolerate you still.
Go figure...

The term "God Fearing" is used a lot by religious people. Why would someone fear something that is omnipotent and looking out for your best interest? Why not say "God Trusting" or something like that?
