Here are a few:
1) Allah is a slave master; God is a father.
2) Allah says kill the infidels; Jesus says love your enemies.
3) Allah says "submit!"; Jesus says "choose".
4) Allah is distant and transcendent; God draws near to us and seeks after us. The Christian God dwells within all believers in an intimate embrace while Allah is aloof and afar.
5) God suffers for our sins, and sacrifices his most prized possession -- his son -- for sinners; Allah is a self detached and indifferent judge -- and everyone pays for his own sins.
6) Muslims have no idea who is going to Heaven because Allah is arbitrary -- his mercy alone decides who gets in; God has objective standards and easy to understand rules.
7) Allah hates sinners and wants them dead (See links below for references); God loves sinners and rejoices when they repent.
8) Allah is ultimately unknowable; God clearly reveals his nature in the Bible.

Many are the religions and paths that souls take in their quest for reaching God. Many wars have been waged in his name. However, he does not exclusively belong to anyone. He belongs to everyone equally.
It seems therefore that human beings, without realizing, have all been worshipping and trying to discover the same God. There is only one God and His form is a point of light. He is called by different names in different religions.

Some think that “Jehovah” in Hebrew means “Allah” (God). But “Allah” corresponds, in Hebrew, to ’Elo·him′, the plural of majesty of the word ’eloh′ah (god). A superstition arose among the Jews that prohibited them from pronouncing the divine name, Jehovah. So it became their custom that while reading the Holy Scriptures, whenever they came to the name “Jehovah,” they pronounced ’Adho·nai′, which means “Lord.” In some places they even altered the original Hebrew text from “Jehovah” to ’Adho·nai′.
Christendom followed the same course. They replaced the name Jehovah with “God” (“Allah” in Arabic) and with “Lord.” That contributed to the development of the false doctrine of the Trinity, which has no basis in the Holy Scriptures. Because of this, millions mistakenly worship Jesus and the holy spirit and consider them equal to God.
Hence, the leaders both of Judaism and of Christendom share the blame for the widespread ignorance concerning the greatest name.

Yehova,Allah, Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa dan Maha Esa, Sang Hyang Widhi, THE CREATOR, THE ALMIGHTY, TAO, GUSTI NU MAHA SUCI, is the same, it's the same ONE.
Some people with high spiritual knowledge and awareness, can see no difference in them.
When it comes to Jesus as God, then in Arabic Jesus is ilah. Jesus is NOT ALLAH .

I do not think that there is a difference. I have read that the name "Allah" is from a pre-monotheistic Arabic pantheon and that this god was a moon god of some sort. I have read that in more than one source but to be honest with you I am not sure you could get too many reliable sources on Islam in today's environment.
But to answer your question, when Muslims invoke Allah, they are invoking the same God that Abraham invoked.

The God of the bible is the only God and the only way to the Father in heaven is by His son, Jesus Christ.
Allah does not exist. Islam claims that Allah has no son, that Jesus is merely a prophet, that He did not die on the cross and He is not savior.
Since the only name under heaven by which anyone might be saved is Jesus Christ, and since God gave His only son that we might be saved if we believe in Him, Allah is a false, non-existent god.

Allah is the pure personal name of the Creator of he universe.
"Allah" cant be made into singular/plural like, 'Gods'; or masculine/feminine like: God/Godess.
