What is it? You can be harsh to Christians and we can't be harsh back??
I will admit i am backslid, but even if you came up to me when i was in church and doing all the right things and said half of the disrespectful crap you say to people on here, i wouldn't tolerate you still.
Go figure...

Uh - remember Jesus said to LOVE your enemies, PRAY for those who hurt you, BLESS them that curse you, and do GOOD to those who despitefully use you.
Paul said that if your enemy is hungry, give him something to eat, and if he is thirsty give him something to drink.
Jesus, while on the cross, suffered a LOT more than you or I at the hands of skeptics and scoffers alike, but what did He say? "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
Quit your backsliding and repent. Turn back to the Lord and seek His grace mercy and forgiveness, and start living for the Lord.
Scripture says, "Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord and to our God ... And He will abundantly pardon."
God bless you as you seek out the Lord in your life. He loves you, and wants you back. Like the song said, He would rather die than live without you - which is exactly what He did - He died so you can be with Him.

I'm not sure who you're referring to, but I can assure you that not all non-Christians are 'harsh to Christians.' Most people don't care one way or the other; it's just the fanatic types who have to scream "My religion's better than yours!" or "Your god is stupid!" all the time.
Personally, I try to treat people of all religions (and those with none at all) the same.
As for the evolution thing, well, nobody 'believes' in evolution. It has scientific evidence to back it up. To be honest, if it didn't, I wouldn't believe a word of it.
Of course, all ID has is a bunch of long-refuted claims from a washed-up actor and a man convicted of lying to avoid taxes. Creationism - all 50 or so variants of it - only has religious texts and no actual science.
Maybe you should try asking questions with some maturity, instead of trolling the boards just to get a reaction out of people.

not many non-christians are actually harsh, so do the actions and words of the few justify your rant at the majority? i think not
plus the rant was rather incoherent, so if you wish to have a debate and be taken seriously, probably best if you take a deep breath first and try again, as this method will only alienate people, both religious and non-religious

I certainly am relieved that you don't represent Jesus Christ in any manner including Christianity. Churches will not save you. You must be born again. Over and over until you get it right. I assume you're refering to the Christian bashers out there.
Why give them the time of day? They want to see a reaction out of us so they can try and point out how crazy they think we are.
Just because a few crazy people bombed some abortion clinics in the name of Jesus all Christians get this "crazy" persona attached to them.
We're normal, we just go to Church and have Faith in something we can't see. No different than going to school and believing in the theory of evolution. Nobody was around 4.5 billion years ago yet scientists can make half the Country believe they know what happened back then. That takes as much faith to believe as believing in the Creation account.

You have experienced what Christian doctrines have been quoting for ages. If you descend to the level of those you are critical, you will receive their wrath and find that they are correct in their response. If you remain in the wisdom of the doctrines and allow them their beliefs, where they rant and rave and deny all, while you just quote doctrine as lightly as a butterfly's flight, see who gets out of sorts every time. Of course if you did what you did for the hades of it, might as well sign up with them.

It's about hypocrisy. Christians are not supposed to be judgmental, cruel, etc. but they are.
I would NEVER be mean to Christians but they have been very cruel to me. So I deserve to defend myself.
Muslims do not bother me. Jews do not bother me. Buddhists do not bother me. Hindus do not bother me. Therefore, I do not bother them. Christians are the only religious group that give me grief.
