I am reposting this question because "St.Catechumen" has blocked me, and maybe other Catholics from answering the question (why would someone who says he is studying to become a Catholic block the answers of Catholics?). Following is the rest of his question:

"St. Catechumen" wrote

God took woman from within man by using man's rib. Woman then caused man to sin. Because of this, man fell. This, of course, is Adam and Eve.

God then took Man from woman, redeeming woman through His grace. This, of course, is Jesus and Mary. Christ is referred to as the Second Adam; likewise Mary is the second Eve.

Woman came from man, humans fell, Man comes from woman, and humans are redeemed. It is a perfect.

Any answers or comments?

Please, if you are Catholic, give me reasons why the Catholic church is a better choice than Protestant. I am completely sincere about this and am hoping for sincere answers in return...no bashing either denomination please.

Any possibilities? There's so much evidence for evolution. The evolution of animals seems to fit in with religion. God may have created these animals and they must have evolved. But what about humans? God created humans in human form. Can anyone help?

Then you’re saying you believe in a dead guy?

And if you think he has risen...than can one say he...died...for your sins?....or just took a really deep nap?

I mean, to you he's NOT dead...so where is this wondrous sacrifice you say he made?

I really don't understand the point of Christianity. It's the most ridiculous load of bull that people still buy to this day in a modern society. I think that the fact a religion exists revolving a Jewish zombie who was his own father who can walk on water and floated into the sky from his grave proves how dumb our society is.

((Of course, I'm speaking of only those Christians who deny evolution))

It seems clear that the Bible says God made man and God made land. Nothing about evolving species or shifting continents.

So what is the difference?

Or any fundamentalist, for that matter. Absolute certainty, unmoved by evidence. They have accepted the holy book, but when overwhelming scientific evidence contradicts the book it is the evidence that must be thrown out, not the book.

I dont mean to insult the position of Christ, but this is facts! I read a book about satan and Lucifer. Satanic Churchs have been 'shared' to many countries, included America. Lucifer will start the 'NEW ERA' of satan n a leader of Satanic Church! At the ends'll come, his satanic members will banish with Lucifer.

One form of scientific materialism is that matter is the essence of existence. In that view, we study matter because we study what is real, not imaginary things. This view is not in opposition to the study of meditation because our thoughts, our mind, etc. are just an expression of the essence of existence, whether we call it matter is irrelevant.

However, a stronger form of scientific materialism insist that our thoughts and our mind cannot *through meditation* participate in new fundamental laws like the ones we have in chemistry, biology, etc. In this view, the study of the mind and thoughts is only valid as long we separate it from the teaching of meditation.

Not all meditations are equivalent. Some forms of meditation has been shown to have *systematic* effects on our body and on our environment. The challenge is that we can't separate a meditation from its teaching : one is the result of the other. Usually, the teaching is provided by an independent organization.

This is like saying that although you believe in steps, but that staircases are just silly.

Or here's a better analogy:

You have a computer that is programmed to do one thing. you change a line of programming and it still does that one thing, but it does it a bit differently. So you change another line of programming. It still does the same thing, but it does it a little differently. If you change a line of programming every day, or add a line or delete a line, eventually that program will be very unlike the original program, right? Eventually, it might not do the same thing it originallly did. Eventually, a program for calculating mortality tables could become a program for, say, playing pacman.

As an Evangelical Christian, I believe our primary purpose in life is to love God and serve God. Each of us has a different way of doing that. What is your way? How are you serving the Lord?

Why is it that non-believers of God constantly come up here and put down Christians, and put down God, and always have something negative to say about it?????
But on the other hand those "non-believers" get offended if someone were to question them about why they do not believe in God!
Great......You can believe in any religion that you please!!!!That is your right!!!
But why try and put down those that are believers of God??????
Faith is "Believing without seeing"!!!!
For those who want to know.....I am a believer in God, and I know that he is real even though some may not believe!!!
OK, see I believe, but that is me!!
You may be different....That is OK, believe what you may, but stop putting down people that believe in God!!!
You know......You had to get in this world someway......

So I had a friend looking at my homepage and he noticed my contacts. . .and the one named "Confirmed Atheist" popped out to him. He literally said, "Why is he one of your contacts". And, I said, "Because he is a real cool guy with interesting thoughts". My friend replied, "But, he is an Atheist". . .like I had Satan himself as a contact, lol. My reply was, "Yeah, and that simply means he is a human who does not believe in God. . .and is a really cool guy with interesting thoughts".

Why do you think the term "Atheist" scares some people?

Keep the Sabbath day, established by our Creator at mankind's creation, HOLY? If not, why not?

I have just asked 9 questions in a row, based on the 10 Commandments from Exodus 20. All most all the answers, in one way or another, say that they are following those 9 commands.

Take a good look on these links:
http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/gosthom.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnosticism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecclesia_Gnostica

This is the newfound scriptures written on the same period as our new testament. According to this Gnostic Society, there were many Christian tradition in 2nd - 3rd century, among them were at least two big tradition, the first was Pauline tradition which shapes our Christianity today, and the second was the Gnostic society, which believe in reincarnation, and also different paradigm of salvation.

The Gnostic society, so this website claimed, were eradicated by the Catholic church at the time, and proclaimed it as heresy.

Are there churches who teach and believe Jesus will accomplish His will, even if it means correction in the age to come?

During the Last Supper, Jesus performed a new rite – the washing of the feet of His disciples (John 13:4-17). Jesus said He had given them an example that has to be done. I do not know of any Rabbi who washed the feet of his followers in any Jewish festival or religious rite.

What do you think is the purpose of this washing of the feet? Do Jews have similar ritual? Which among Christian churches perform this?
